  1. Oh wow, so I assume it’s a lighter flywheel. I had no clue when I phoned in the order lol!! Also got dealer pricing and paid $950 not $1237. Well, got an oem flywheel I need to sell, not returning it A good read https://www.torquecars.com/tuning/dmf-solid-flywheel.php Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The konis are off the late model wrx with oem top hats and 3.6r h&r lowering springs. Ride quality is perfect in Massachusetts!! So didn’t realize that the stage 3 endurance South Bend comes with the flywheel as it just arrived today.... looks nice!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. What’s worse than pulling the tranny down and come to find out your South Bend clutch is not the correct application DOH!!! Also found out after talking with a South Bend rep, there rated torque is to the crank not the wheels, so the stage 2 daily had no chance with my 376 tq as it’s rated 315 crank. He talked me into the stage 3 Endurance and gave me invoice pricing under a grand woot woot. But cars gotta sleep up in the air till next week
  4. Kinda like it without the spoiler which is getting painted .... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The calm before the storm... at work that is! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Prob mentioned but I’m an eying the Audi RS3. A bit smaller but a rocket ship! Fastest in its class with style but not overdone. Waiting for slightly used models to appear as new price tag is stupid right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. BNR Turbo arrived!!! Also ID1050x’s and IAG deletes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Don’t know if you guys remember the hit and run my car went through over a year ago, but rear quarter panel started bubbling recently so brought it back to the body shop again to get fixed. I also asked them to repaint entire bumper as my kids scratched the shit out of the freshly painted new one I had put on from hit and run. They said they would for $400 so be it. I thought to myself while they have the paint mixed up I might as well remove hella horn face plates which are horribly faded to get them painted ruby red too lol!! I picked up car 3 days later and body guy brought me out to the car to show me the work and I was very pleased. I then said I’m ready to pay. He gave me the key and said it’s on us, have a great day!!! I was floored! I figured at least $450 with bumper and horn plates. I thanked him up and down and took off. Some pics... 9. Joe, thanks to you and a few others for talking me into it, absolute best setup for the 5th gen. While I haven’t experienced any other combos besides a set of BC coilovers, these are super comfortable for New England driving and drop the car to a perfect height all the way around. I’m still on the softest setting but will prob go a 1/2 turn up front to dial them in. Koni and H&R all day!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Love the unlimited car wash pass. She’s always gonna be clean. Went twice today cause there was a soap mark on driver side door [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Lmao^^^^^^!! Well the owner of the TLX actually took the pic, so not much we can do there [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. An Evo sandwich! Well kinda, if you take that TLX out of the mix Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Continental DWS extreme 06. I run a Firestone and push those tires to my VIP’s who want the best all around tire. The best asymmetrical all season tire out there for the price!! Yes, I work for FIRESTONE, not continental lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I️ miss them too lol!! My whit’s wed now involves rebuilding my YFZ450 that blew an engine. Of course I️ couldn’t just replace the engine. Went with a 478 big bore kit, stage 3 hot cams etc... Here is a before and after...
  15. What’s up Joe!!! I️ absolutely love the wrx KONI/H+R 3.6r Spring setup!! I️ am sooo happy you talked me into this rte over another set of coils. Perfect daily driver now for New England. Although it sits a bit higher, it’s a perfect trade off. It pushes a bit in the corners so need to do some adjusting if I️ ever get time to do so. Maybe a bigger front sway and a 1/2 turn or so stiffer on the dampers. I️ still haven’t secured the sensors yet. But so far the zip tie mod has worked great [emoji23]. No rubbing marks at all. Getting a fantastic deal on some discontinued RE760’s through work at $40/tire. Gonna go a bit wider 255/40/18 hopefully still clearing the struts on 18x8.5 +35 Miro Wheels. Will test fit next sat then store away for the winter as snow setup is going on...
  16. Hey folks, I’m still around lol!! Been dabbling with other interests, but been a while since I️ posted my 10’. Just washed her inside and out for the first time in a year I think and of course the water froze ass chilly as heck in mass today, so bad but been busy...
  17. Kinda love this Evo X!! My buddy just picked it up, 2014 with 14k on the clock for 25k, super clean. I couldn't find one scratch on it. He had no clue what mods it had after purchasing, but came to find out has been fully outfitted with AMS goodies, 1000cc injectors and unknown turbo. Was running super rich as tune was removed before purchasing. Told him to set up a tune with Bren at Bren Tuning and boom, 340 whp 360tq. These 2.0 EVOs make easy power geesh. 28 psi also. Not sure if stock turbo or not. I assume no... Car is super fun to drive!!
  18. Guys, you WILL NOT find Inserts anywhere!! I repeat, you will not find inserts anywhere unless KONI decides to release them again. Mrstacy, just order WRX front and rear struts/shocks and front 5/8" spacers from Anderson Design Fabrication with H&R 3.6r springs and be completely happy!! Along with necessary hardware, top hats, insulators, dust boots etc.. if you don't have your oem strut assemblies
  19. In hindsight, I could suggest based off my winter tire/wheel specs and GT's that most applications will work even ZEE's. Interested to see in a couple months or so how my 8.5" summer wheels clear. I'm sure plenty of room once again.
  20. Same here, busy as a bee and haven't had a chance to think of a bracket fab. Just driving and enjoying the new KONIS and abs light currently non existent
  21. Good work guys, this is awesome, but if there are some of you who want to jump on Konis now, don't be afraid to go the full WRX route with front spacers or lowering rear Spring perch. I see no reason to wait and the full assemblies are waaaaay easier to deal with than Inserts I assume and less margin for error!! Love my KONIS
  22. Go Konis with your choice of springs and don't look back. Be patient and do it right!
  23. Subaru are supposed to rattle you didn't know!! JK, I feel your pain, noises suck and when you can only here them while moving, difficult to diagnose. I'll fab up a bracket that will screw into WRX bracket to safely move the wire away from the strut, very temporary solution for now...
  24. Quite simply, tucked wire behind abs bracket and zip tied it loosely so it can move with the strut. Very effective for now. The brake line bolts right up just like oem.
