White GT Wagon on East Bound 94 at about Moreland road exit. Saw you surge forward, made me look over. I was in the RBP LGT with grey wheels. Saw you look over just as I was exiting on Moreland. -

Yes, that is the correct part from radioshack.

Well if it's any indication, every subaru instruction when working on the car, even just body panels, is 1) disconnect the battery. Because you are working with something electrical, it would be in your best intrest to disconnect the battery's negative terminal before proceeding.

I took steps to prevent a Ground Loop. Like tieing the ground of the power outlets to the radio ground and car chassis. Niether worked, I still had a ground loop. I only resolved the problem by installing a Ground Loop Isolator. I'm not 100% sure, but if I had to guess, I would say this is caused by the radio having a floating ground. /shrug

I endded up buying a GLI because I was getting slight alternator noise. $17 later and little work, because I mounted a 1/8" jack in my center console, I had it installed and had no more noise.

CD's are Stereo 44khz PCM sample only... Or at least that's my understanding... Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.

I'm pretty sure this is MY 05 and 06 with 6 disk CD changer.

This works really well!!! Thanks all that where involved in making this work, espcially Jazzymt! I have my new Ipod Nano connected through the Berkin Ipod adaptor and it works like a champ!!

Farthest you can get the signal from the power is about 6 inches. But it is definatly doable.

Installed and works great!!! I added a 1/8 stereo jack inside my arm rest by the power outlet, I hate hanging cables. Also, I ran a ground wire from the headunit to the power outlet ground to hopefully avoid ground loops when I start using my Ipod... Hopefully, I will get my IPod Nano this week..
