  1. Made some progress on my LR308 build. Lantac BCG and Vortex PST Gen II are next two items on the list.
  2. I keep thinking about getting one for P-07 would be nice to warm up with .22
  3. Rent all the guns! Find what fits your hand and style the best. I really like the Sig P320, CZ P-07 or CZ P-09(Favorite hammer and best value), Springfield 1911, H&K VP9, and Walther PPQ M2 (Favorite Striker)
  4. Correct, I was generalizing because all magazine will have said notch now.
  5. CZ P07, it uses the same magazines as the new striker CZ P10c
  6. The last of the parts from CGW arrived and installed: short reset disconnector, short resset disconnector, extended firing pin, reduced power return spring and a 18# hammer spring. My CZ has a 2.5# SA Pull and a 8.25# DA pull, the reset is much better. The break is unbelievably smooth. Definitely recommend a Pro-Grade kit from GCW for anyone with a CZ.
  7. The VestPac Wislon Traveler isn't bad if you're going to carry a M&P Shield sized pistol of smaller, but don't fit anything Glock 19 sized sadly.
  8. Gray Guns makes a nice trigger for the P320 as well. After I bit of searching I found a neat little pack to put my CCW in while backpacking and hiking. The best part is that it's in expensive. I've seen the tacticool version go for almost 10x as much. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0083SW4NM/
  9. It makes sense, the P320 is cheap and you can put them together like a Lego set.
  10. Not a lot of sight options for the P-07 but I found Cajun Gun Works and Dawson Precision produce a set. I like 2 dot systems but these a vast improvement over the factory sights. http://i.imgur.com/tdk5Su5.jpg
  11. Took the CZ P07 for the first time since installing the CGW Hammerkit. It's almost there, just need some more breaking in. Also brought a new shooter, she did an awesome job punching holes in paper with my APEX'd M&P9 Shield.
  12. I've got a thing for the S&W V-Comp 8 shot .357 Mag http://www.lsbauctions.com/wp-content/uploads/Smith-Wesson-SW-Model-627-3-V-Comp-Performance-Center-.357-Magnum-Revolver.jpg
  13. Some parts from Cajun Gun works arrived, still rocking the factory hammer spring. I'll let the scale doing the talking. (And yes I could make it lighter but I'm content at this weight)
  14. Tried a Galco Classic Lite shoulder holster for about a week and can't say I'm a fan so back it goes. On the other hand my Stealth Gear "mini" holster is very comfy, and I would probably justify the cost over an Alien Gear.
  15. Enjoying the new set up. Eventually going to get a shoulder holster for it.
  16. I'm excited for their new P-10C, interested to shoot one once they're in the wild. Bonus: their magazine will work in the P-07.
  17. They're super underrated, pretty much anyone that has one loves it.
  18. I've shot one with the APEX Trigger, it's a decent pistol for sure.
  19. I have the M&P Pro Series that's have APEX's Duty/Carry kit installed and while it's a nice pistol. I paid about $600 for my M&P Pro. I have a .40 S&W slide for my P226 and I never use it because 9mm is way cheaper to shoot, has good capacity, and easier to control. However, I think the best bang for your buck is the CZ P07 (Glock 19 sized) and P-09 (Glock 17 sized). It takes the features I enjoy about my Sig P226 (External hammer with DA/SA trigger with a decocker or safety, tighter slower breech unlock and full length rails) and M&P(lighter weight polymer frame, higher capacity magazine [P07 is 15+1 P09 is 19+1 and you get polymer +2 base plates for $4 a piece], great ergonomics with a swap able back strap.) all for about $450 for the basic model (which for a compact I got) for $500 for a supressor ready model(Which I have for my full size).. The pistol shoots very accurately and is easier to control than my P226 or M&P, and has a great trigger. The only thing I don't really like is field stripping it, not that it's hard just the you have to line up two notches and drive the pin out like a 1911. Seriously if you can find a range the has one locally, I strongly urge you to shoot one. I like this pistol so much I'm probably going to sell my M&P 5" Pro to fund my LR308 Rifle build Edit Picture: Glock 19 and CZ P07
  20. Spring Range Officer, my friend has one set up with a Trijicon HD front sight and a Harrison rear sight, Magpul grips, plus a ramp and trigger job by me. If I wear to buy a .45 ACP that would be my choice!
  21. I found a buyer for my M&P 9 Pro 5" and once I finish the deal, ordering up a CZ P-07 and CZ-P09 Suppressor Ready, $925 for both shipped to my LGS! Edit: I found some at local ranges (regular P-09 not the SR), fantastic pistols indeed, factory trigger on the broken in range guns were good, solid ergonomics, low recoil due to the heavy slide in the frame, capacity is great 15+1 in the P-07 and 19+1 P-09. which +2 base pads available at the great price of $8 for 2! Spring precision makes a nice sized magwell for the P-09 and just requires a little grinding on the +2 pads to fit with it.
  22. Have any you guys shot the CZP09 yet? I've been trying to find one to shoot locally. I love my M&P but CZ makes some nice stuff too!
  23. Dropped my LR-308 receivers and stock off at the LGS for Cerakoting Sniper Grey anyone?! This build is coming together quicker than I thought it would. Just need handguard, bcg, buffer, buffer spring, and muzzle device (thinking OSS Bravo Banner)
  24. I prefer the Victory, being able to change barrels without having to get a new serialized part. Also threaded. Oh stuff came!
  25. A buddy of mine and myself just ordered some Fulton Armory LR-308 lowers... Thinking Christensen Arms carbon barrels, and Luth-AR stocks.
