  1. There might be, however it begs the question "why isnt this allowed to be discussed in depth" if this IS the aftermarket and upgrade thread? Were up to 23 pages already, i seriously doubt a page or two talking about changing the entire look and value of your car will cause an issue. Just my $.02
  2. Wouldnt you consider a vinyl wrap and/or paint job "aftermarket" or at least an "upgrade"?
  3. Not yet! soon though, I have to run "hella" negative camber to keep from cutting a tire lol
  4. So, if I cant do both at the same time... should I do the front or rear sway bar and endlinks first?
  5. Ive got some rubbing issues from the tires being so wide, they rub on the fenders outside edge. The ride is surprisingly nice! I tweaked the spring rate a little too tight tonight, so every bump feels like a massive pothole, ill fix it tomorrow. The ride height is low, lower and drag yo sheet on da ground.
  6. Once I get the spring rate set, ill adjust the ride height back to where I want it. till then, its fun to show off and even more fun to drive!!!!
  7. More pics of the coilovers installed. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i027.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i025-1.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i022.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i015.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i013.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i012.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i011.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i010-1.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i009.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i008.jpg
  8. haha no. Red, the orange is the damn street light! Ill get better pics today.
  9. What about the springs? Getting the old springs and struts off seems to be the most work involved... am I right? Will I need a spring compress?
  10. how much work is entailed in installing coilovers? is it something I can do in my garage in a few hours? Or should I wait and reserve a full afternoon at the hobby shop on base?
  11. Am I to assume ANY year WRX will swap onto my outback? Is there anything special I need to know/do/look for while Im searching for a donor WRX?
  12. Thats what I figured, I just wanted to double check. Theres a guy selling 03 WRX seats (front and rear) on i-club. Thought it would be a better upgrade than my stock cardboard feeling ones. Not to mention, Im 6'1 and even I use that little crank thing to lift my seat all the way up. Then I dont feel like I need a booster seat I would like to find a set of HEATED seats to swap in too... that would be very nice. I know I know! But I wasnt sure about the ride height or if they were bolt in or you had to swap the rails too or whatever.
  13. Ok, cool. Another noob question for those who have swapped seats... I like the look of wrx 02,03 seats. How do they sit in a leggy? Are they bolt in or need fabrication? What (if any) seats bolt straight in with little work. This is my DD so it cant be "down" for longer than a day at the most for the moment.
  14. Im gonna pull my whole pipe off. Gonna have a shop bend me a custom 2.5 inch pipe and Ill add a high flow cat to it myself. I like my rumble and subtle exhaust note now, but I want it a little louder. So Ill delete all the resonators and the cat) I am thinking about getting those racelands here VERY soon. Wont I need camber bolts for the rear though?
  15. So I take it... they DO fit ? lol I assumed they did since you said stock WRX springs from 02-07 fit our wagons...
  16. I hate to be a noob... but I want to be sure. Will this fit my 98 ob? http://www.racelandus.com/p-127-coilover-kit-for-subaru-impreza-rs-wrx-sti-2nd-gen.aspx
