  1. That's funny. One of the Fathers on my son's soccer team has a Tesla. Loves it when he is only driving around the area and close to home. When we had a tournament in PA, he said it was the biggest pain in the ass to get there because of charging.
  2. I know I'm late but until someone spend a decent amount of time in one- who cares what they think. I love the space and it gets up and goes, handles much better than an SUV. I added Sync 3 to my 2014 so that eliminates my biggest complaint with it.
  3. Considering that's what was seen driving around with the Ascent in spy shots, I'd say it a safe bet.
  4. There are only so many uninformed buyers out there:rolleyes:
  5. We don't fold the mirrors in on our Legacy anymore. We've had to fight the dealer twice and get a regional rep involved both times. Once folded in once or twice they become loose. The detent doesn't hold them firm anymore. Funny you have a 2010, wasn't too long ago we were reading about all the trouble with the wonderful shimmie in the front end Subaru included as a gift. Should we mention the oil consumption lawsuit?
  6. I'm sure those Honda Pilot owners needing new transmissions in 1000 miles are loving Asian vechicles right now.
  7. Ecoboost in just about everything they have. If there were issues you'd be hearing about it. Fit and finish in mine is as good as the wife's legacy. Like I said, if you want room, AWD, quick and not an suv- not many choices.
  8. Ford's reliability is up there. Their mistake was partnering with Microsoft. I've read more than one article describing how Sync pretty much single handedly brought down Ford's rating.
  9. Get out the pitch forks. You want Space, AWD and Quick- Ford Flex EcoBoost
  10. I've never understood going through all the trouble of upgrading to HIDs to only end up putting lower output bulbs in them just to have a 'cool' color.
  11. Thanks- have to love just how sensitive google is to how you word something. Been searching for a while for the answer. After posting I kept trying and found this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HyBFWNB35o. Came on here to delete my post, but you guys are too fast for me. Just to add incase you don't watch the video- they recommend if you plan on keeping it in full soft or full firm to go until it stops then back off a little bit to prevent the adjuster from jamming.
  12. Stupid question on these, don't remeber the initial settings I had. Just wondering if like my mountain bike suspension I can turn it fully in one direction, will it stop, then start counting turns from there? Just worried if I start turning these end up not having a finite stopping point.
  13. I'll be the only dissenting opinion. I did the yellows and nothing else. It's such a drastic difference that I'm actually happy as is. I may still put a 19mm sway bar on, but not sure.
  14. I swapped all four corners in a day. If you aren't looking to paint them it's easy.
  15. hmm what to do, the plan is to had this down to my son in two years, then my daughter after he's done high school.
  16. For anyone on the fence, if you just want something better without going crazy, the Konis are a 1000x times better than stock. Knocked out the front and rear today. It's one of those things that when you drive it after you're done you think to yourself why didn't I do this 5 years ago when I bought the car. Even on stock 2011 springs, the ride is so much better.
  17. Just the stock ones, not trying to lower or anything, just a better ride. Would be willing to pick up some newer stock springs as I've read they are a little stiffer. I'd just look for them used.
  18. I've gone through this thread in the past trying to get a feel for the difference between the Koni's and the RCE Bilstein, but the comments I've found are from people that have run one or the other not both. It's finally time to decide and I was hoping someone that has actually run both could give me a comparison of what they though of each, pro cons? Just trying to eliminate the 70's caddie ride and get something more like a VW ride out of it. Thanks
  19. well that's easy, is it about looking cool or better output? You want cool than any of the ricer colors above 5k If you want better output 4.3 or 5k
  20. I need to do something about the headlight in ours. I'm wondering if the RetroSource Legacy Retro kit would work with these. Big gamble.
  21. Wow, I just found this thread. I'm 47 and been driving manuals most of my life and the Legacy made me feel like a beginner clutch driver since day one. Nice find guys, can;t wait to get this done.
  22. No, 45k for 44k worth of parts and labor, 1k for the Scion
