  1. Son inherited the Wifes legacy, today he tells me about a strong coolant smell. When I check the level it's low and I can see some wet spots at the bottom. No dealer open right now, is there a coolant I can get at Advanced that can mix with the Subaru coolant? Need to get something in there to find the leak. Thanks
  2. It'll interesting to see it, but we just bought one because we wanted the H6.
  3. This, the first dealer I called gave me an appointment a month later, called around and got one within a week. It's not a long job, not worth the hassle of a loaner so I just waited.
  4. Call me an ass, but seriously you're comparing the words limited and premium, not the vehicles. This post has to be one of the silliest things I've read. 2005 Limited Sedan to a 2012 OB premium to an 2019 Assent Limited. In the words of one of favorite TV adds - "That's not how it works, that's not how any of this works." You have to drive the same vehicle in different trims to make any comparison of trims. You might as well throw a Ford Limited into the comparison. Heck there has to be other manufacturers with Premium and Limited as trims, bring those in as well.
  5. You win, so a CVT can shift a million times into a million gears that you'll never feel.
  6. LOL the reason the GT went away was because it was manual only and they sold around 212 of them. Yea not gonna happen.
  7. Ouch- finally went to build one because we are close to purchasing- really hate that the moonroof can only be added as part of expensive packages I don't want or need.
  8. There are no details as of yet. I tried to set up an appointment. The recall has been issued, but the remedy hasn't. So now its sit and wait.
  9. Sweet, I've been procrastinating fixing ours- with this recall it gets done for free.
  10. That's because it was a crappy implementation of memory seats.
  11. The adjustable pedals are another nice thing Ford has. I wish more manufacturers would. Having a short wife I see a major difference in how close she is to the airbag in the Legacy vs. the Flex.
  12. That's how my Flex works, the Key fobs are synced with the memories. So when I open it with my Fob, everything is already adjusted by the time I get in.
  13. Interesting: https://www.forbes.com/sites/jensen/2018/08/11/recall-subaru-says-some-owners-will-get-new-vehicles/#d721d1f7b60b Nice to see Subaru stepping up to the plate. Jeep Wranglers are having major welding issues and screwing people.
  14. It's why I hate all the electronics in car today. Jeep has run into a similar issue. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bd3FAG5BJWT/
  15. No need to worry, everything they make is top notch;)
  16. Here's an example of the top notchiness http://www.piloteers.org/forums/114-2016-third-generation-pilot/114682-zf-nine-speed-transmission-problems-recalls-praise.html
  17. Hmm when I looked into them a lot of the Touring models getting new trans within a few k. Guess depends on the definition of top notch.
  18. The way they prove the Earth is flat is as good as your subjective measurements that prove the 4 Runner is bigger

  20. Where are you guys getting numbers that say the 4Runner has more room?
  21. You're so right I want a sleek SUV so that it has less room than a sedan. No point in wanting an SUV that has any kind of room in it.
