  1. I had a build thread booked marked where somone took a Turbo Outback and put a regular legacy front and rear end on it. Lost the bookmark some how. Any one know the thread? it was white if I recall correctly. Thanks
  2. If you wait 5+ years, Subaru might catch up to the rest of the industry and start putting buttons back in.
  3. Jesus isn't an idiot light on the mirror enough- lane camera?
  4. No they don't, gaskets are forever just Subaru does a crappy job on those
  5. Good luck, spend some time on the forums. Jeeps quality is absolute garbage right now. Yes I know all about forums, but the JL one had a lot more issue on it than any other car forum I've ever been one. Frames with poor or even worse missing welds on frames, and then a ton of bugging electronics issues, even manuals that you normally think of as bullet proof were having issues.
  6. It's why I went with a NA Flex- plenty fast enough for something this size. Too bad Ford didn't put any marketing into the Flex instead of dropping it. As far as wagons go- it's the biggest out there and most important- not a mini van.
  7. Anyone that is using the Idata link having trouble with radio reception? Yes I know it's powered antenna. yes the correct wire is connected. It worked fine with the Pioneer I installed years ago.
  8. Are the morons at Honda that have never driven a real Pick Up still putting the spare in the bed?
  9. Have you driven one? I had one as a rental for a business trip. Client was 1.5 hours from the airport- that's all it took to get that idea out my head. Was actually thinking of one or Colorado. Haven't driven the Chevy yet.
  10. Sometimes I really wonder who is in charge there and if they have a clue. As much as I research vehicles, I'll admit I missed this on the new Outback we bought the wife. Memory seats- who the **** puts memory seats in a vehicle but not mirrors- oh hey Subaru in 2019.
  11. This a huge issue. Subaru screwed up. So many other manufacturers have learned people prefer buttons and are moving back to buttons. Subaru has shown up 5 years late to the party to find every gone.
  12. So my son inherited the Legacy. It's pushing coolant out the over flow every once in a while. We recently added a new stereo that has gauges. He noticed the temp hit 250 and the AC wasn't blowing cold at the same time. I'm thinking fans. Whats, the best way to test relays vs. fans as the issue? Thanks
  13. No Idea, if you search for you'll find the guy. He goes into all the detail about ratios etc.. I sat in a Passport and it was enough for me. I'll wait til they don't sell and the price comes down. For the money, there is no value in a Passport.
  14. Thanks- first picture I've seen with them on the Legacy.
  15. Found some 2013 BRZ wheels in good shape for a great price. Are the the right offset for a 2011 Legacy.
  16. Was impressed by a guy who has been posting videos of his new Passport. He's out west and going out on runs with a bunch a Subarus. The Passport definitely does much better in crawling situations than Subaru
  17. Not to pile up on you, but you've been on here long enough to know that these are pretty darn reliable and that it's pretty indicative that you happened to get a lemon. Ranting on about Subaru based on a lemon, while everyone else around you with the same vehicle isn't having all the issue you are is really counter productive. Our 2011 has over 100k on it. Outside of LOF tire rotations and the relate T-belt stuff- I've been lazy as hell. Still trying to remember the last time I changed the air filter if ever. Never flushed the brakes fluid, never flushed trans or differentials.- Run great. That all said, it's getting all those things this summer so I can teach the son who inherited it how to do his own work.
  18. Does a 2011 Premium Non HK, Non Nav have an amp?
  19. Just wondering if anyone in the area has had hail damage repaired and can recommend a shop they used. Seems like there are hundreds and we all know how reliable on line reviews are. Thanks
  20. We gave my son the Wife's 2011 Legacy. Looking at giving him a new head unit with Android Auto for his Bday. The question is, has anyone else done it and which module did you use to get the phone button to work. I have an older module in it now for the Pioneer and steering wheel controls, but it's never been 100%.
  21. Really odd, topped it off and couldn't find a leak. Drove it a little to see if it'd burp and nothing. Got a pressure tester on it now and we'll see.
  22. Thanks for the quick response, barely made it to AA before they closed
