20lgt06, did you notice if your headlamp relay "sounded" louder? I did this mod and maybe its just me, but the relay seemed to click louder? Oh, and I decided not to cut the wires.....old motor swap trick: pull the pins out of the plastic connector and tape back the wires. Fully reversible if needed. Thanks for the wire designations though. EDIT: 07 Owners who haven't done the 07 DRL mod: If you could, get in the car, close the driver door, start your car, then open the driver door and count how long the LCD screen stays on indicating which door is open before it switches back to the "driving screen" (whether its mileage, SI graph, ET, range of fuel remaining, etc). I thought it stayed on the "orange door open" screen until the door shut. thanks.

I didn't pay much attention to the wire colors when I was under there...but what connector are the 'wires to be snipped' bundled with?

I just tried the DRL mod, and the white plug disabled my brights (what some previous posters said above me); so I replugged that in and pulled the black one. The instantly put on the DRLs (even with the e-brake pulled up) and the headlamps on lowbeam were almost no brighter than the DRLs and HighBeams came on but just a touch brighter than the lows. I think Subaru re-arranged some wires in there on the 07s....they DO read these boards!!! Meh....I usually drive with full headlamps anyway; like sframs posted above.

OOooo, count me in for the 07 trip too. I'd like to see if the attractions have changed much since I last saw them in 05.

what sealant was that? TurboAWD - what portions of the instructions would you change? Looks great by the way! And the S4 does too!!! underpowered - what about painters tape? How do you think that would do for masking off?
