It's an arbitrary goal. I'll be happy with 290, or even more if I go over 300. Here's my mods waiting to be installed: DW65c DW 850cc Invidia catless up (already installed) CNT catted down (already installed) GS ECBS GFB BPV RacerX FMIC NGK 1 step colder plugs SPTv2 CBE Cobb intake w/airbox That's pretty much it. 300 was just a random number I picked... since that seems to be about a good number on a stock block. I also have a 5eat, and I'm having HexMods's VB and his 1st gen diff bushings installed next month.

I'm wanting 300whp on pump gas without maxing out a turbo and without the lag of a 20G.

I'm ordering my 18G on Friday.. won't be able to install it until November though =(

He was actually being quite informative, telling the person who posted that reply that he was asking in the wrong forum and where to find his answers that he seeks. I used to admin several forums, and one of my pet peeves was people (usually newer members) posting random questions in the wrong forum. This is David's thread and it focuses on the 5EAT. Crank pulley issues don't belong here.

What do you torque the bolts on the LCA and the axle to?

Finally gonna have time to do this one in a few weeks... only thing I'm worried about is breaking that notorious seal.. on the tranny I guess?

IPT has a video on Youtube on how to remove and replace your valve body, but the guy cheats... the tranny is removed, and flipped upside down. If you do just the VB, when you take the pan off to remove it, is this full of ATF?

Dave, do you still plan on keeping the F1 going for years to come? I still want to do this but business has been terrible and life isn't treating me so good right now.

Like SeaBass said, it doesn't damage it. I do it all the time... probably pisses people off since I slow down with using the brakes.. thus no brake lights And the TCU won't let you shift if it's going to do damage to the engine (as far as going past the redline). In our 5eats, the tranny should go before the engine.
