All I want to say is.. Do NOT go IPT. ClimberD @ HexMods is the way to go. He built a new VB mod that shifts even quicker.

I hate to have to post how to get this working again when I already got my questions answered before but here we go with round 2. I'm doing this to get my brother's car tuned now and we're using his computer (Vista).. With that said.. Here's my problem. I got everything on the computer. I used the first post of this thread as my reference. I connect to my car (just to test since I can't just go use his car) and "No Vehicle Interface" or whatever in the bottom right of ecuFlash. Now I may know my problem.. I think I messed up on steps 6-10. Adoniram, you mention to use FTDIBUS as a driver, so I set that. But then I never get a "Found Device Wizard" to pop up at all so there's no chance to install FTDIPORT. Actually, the "Found Device Wizard" never pops up. Even when I uninstall driver software and replug the VAG-COM back in, it just automatically installs the drivers. Whatdo?

Anyone willing to trunk swap? '05 OBP with wing. Only thing is, wing and trunk could probably use a repainting if you're anal like me. The wing has scratches all across it like the PO was an idiot scraping ice off it or something. Trunk has a couple 3-4" white scratches that are somewhat deep. Willing to meet within reason and add money on top. Let me know!

It looks like a quality piece until you install it. Let me just put it this way..nothing lined up, we had to drill open the holes in the turbo so it kind of fit, the gasket that came WITH the UP didn't even fit and...it was just a PITA. Hope that helps. Disclaimer: this does not contain sarcasm.

I swear I downloaded that exact thing but it didn't have logger in it..no matter! You saved the day. Thanks soooooo much. The tune is hopefully going to be Saturday so now I think i'm ready. Just gotta test it out on the car tomorrow and i'm good to go I hope!

Ok i'm home right now and trying to do this logger.xml thing. Is this file actually called logger or is it the "A2WC511C" (2005 LGT A/T) file that I extracted? By the way, I was able to update my driver and i'm pretty sure that went smooth! Windows said successful change

So I still need to get my driver situation worked out then right? If so, I'm pretty sure everything else I have is right other than logger.XML that I still need to find. Everything read my car properly..and somehow I have knock out of my 5000 mile old shortblock.. That's a whole different subject haha. Thanks a lot guys! By the way, I was able to pull a ROM ID for Infamous like he requested so I did get that far already too.

Thanks again for the link! I swear I already downloaded the zip and don't remember seeing logger.XML but I'll check again later for that. I have all those programs at least so I'm on the right track there. As for who I bought this from, unfortunately, eBay. If I knew I could buy it from Infamous, I would have.
