Ahhh. Cool. You can get a decent idea of how efficient an external cooler is that way.
-
But there are two sensors already? One at the TC outlet and one in the pan.
-
I've seen as high as 210 before my cooler was added. That was at the TC. It was maybe 205 at the pan? Been a damned long time since then. That was like a 90f day with several back to back 3rd gear pulls. Freessm keeps track of the max numbers, so no need to stare.

I have the brass bushings, and VB mod, etc...
Someone wanted to know how the car holds up with boost launching with CD bushings, I answered.
Oh nvm. Thought you were saying the stock ones held up to your abuse.
-
5eats are cheap and plentiful. I have 1 spare right now, I may pick up another:lol:
Good for you. Bushings are also cheap and plentiful. Congrats on abusing your car. Super interesting.
-
It'll happen eventually.
-
Has anyone with the solid bushings had failures?
-
Didn't know this thread existed. This is a great idea.
-
That's one way to make an entrance.
-
I haven't been in a car with the hexmods for comparison, but the transgo one makes it shift like a beast.

Or go the diy route if it's pressing.

Dozens of hot women, yet all you see is make believe dildos. Very telling.
I was just imagining them having a bit of fun.

Those are strange looking dildos.

That was intense.
-
Yea. My car has always done that as well.
-
It never messed with shift points for me. Even with extreme rt values. They'd only go up to about 400ish before reducing throttle for some reason, but my shift points remained the same.

'05 ECU doesn't have the Calculated Torque tables.
Sent from a device using some software.
True. Only requested torque.
-
So something actually came of that? Last I checked, it was inconclusive. I know it didn't seem to have a significant effect on the 05 5eat. There was a slightly noticeable change in shift hardness, but nothing like you get from a modified vb.
-
It can also survive at higher power levels. It depends on how much you beat on the car.
Why would anyone want to beat on a car after modifying it? Just stick with the weak link trans and baby the car after adding a significant amount of power. Makes sense.
-
It can fail at stage 2.
-
Nope. Just people tweaking requested torque and claiming magic while selling tunes. We're way past the point where there is enough money in this for anyone to care. Not gonna happen.

I wonder if this was a Zombie apocalypse test run...
I'd do the same. Except I wouldn't have stopped.

Doubt there will be any useful cad on that update. Maybe a decent slicer though.
Shouldn't be too hard to make a model of that part. Looks easy enough to print.
