  1. Ordered several months ago, finally arrived. Kakimoto Intake Chamber BIC336 for 3.6R. First one in the US to my knowledge, one of the only 3.6R specific power mods out there for 3.6R.

You will definitely be the 3.6 with the most and the most beautiful welds in the US if you aren’t already. This and the exhaust are both museum quality works of art in my humble opinion

Bought lots of stuff but I can’t photograph what’s not here. This finally arrived.

  2. Similar thoughts. Definitely one of the better executions of quad tips I've seen on a 5th gen, but yeah, rest of the car needs to match the aggressive look. But also, you said the tips are still a work in progress, and I'm sure the rest of the car is the same story. Keep up the good work!

Definitely too aggressive for stock. I’m building a full exhaust bit by bit. Ideally they will not stock out past the bumper at all and it won’t looks as crazy. I think it’s the worst execution of exhaust fitment I’ve ever done 😂. Right now I’m allowing extra material to avoid finding out I cut a section an inch short. I am on a waiting list for one particular product and just started the build so stay with me. I’m not a wheels + exhaust = done guy.

  3. Spent another couple hours on the exhaust today. I was buttoning up leaks and finishing the second muffler section.

Ran into my first clearance issue with the factory piping and the spare tire compartment. They are attached, but the axle back is not finished being built yet.

So right now: they stick too far out at funny angles and hang too low. They will have to work until I can get the rest of the axle back finished. zODZhmX.jpg

I made a custom bumper just to fit 4 muffler tips on my 5th gen legacy GT.

Also made a full custom SS304 exhaust. Sounds amazing.

It looks great! How many centimeters is each tip? Can we please have a sound clip?

  5. Go for it! Some days I wonder about doing that myself but I always chicken out.

Lots of finishers for STI's you can put to dress up the cutout if you want to.

Thankfully chickening out isn’t my thing. Unfortunately sti finishers don’t fit my exhaust tips 😁. I have two 4 inch tips on each side. Doesn’t look as big as it is. I will be using an old winch opening trick to finish the openings for the time being.
