  1. I'm still on the edge of my seat for the 08-09 to be ready to go. I just went with an 18g and FMIC since my turbo died and needed replacing, but I have to have it tuned way down to preserve my transmission.
  2. Mine is just a collection of stickers from performance companies that I have on my car and outdoor websites that I get my gear from. Whiskeymilitia and Dogfunk are awesome for snow and surf gear BTW. /end shameless plug http://i939.photobucket.com/albums/ad236/flat4LGT/Leggy/IMAG0051.jpg
  3. A man and his wife were awakened at 3:00 am by a loud pounding on the door. The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push. "Not a chance," says the husband, "it is 3:00 in the morning!" He slams the door and returns to bed. "Who was that?" asked his wife. "Just some drunk guy asking for a push," he answers. "Did you help him?" she asks. "No, I did not, it is 3:00 in the morning and it is pouring rain out there!" "Well, you have a short memory," says his wife. "Can't you remember about three months ago when we broke down, and those two guys helped us? I think you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself! God loves drunk people too." The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pounding rain. He calls out into the dark, "Hello, are you still there?" "Yes," comes back the answer. "Do you still need a push?" calls out the husband. "Yes, please!" comes the reply from the dark. "Where are you?" asks the husband. "Over here on the swing set," replied the drunk.
  4. I doubt you'll find many of us in America that disagree. But those of us on this site are the ones that actually work for our stuff.
  5. Those look good. Be prepared to roll the rears if you lower it though. I had to with the 18x8 +45 wheels with 225/40/18 tires (mine were yokohama s.drives though).
  6. ^Either the cr-kai's or the rota version (can't remember exactly which one it is). And I agree that you need 19s minimum to look good on the 5th gen because of the huge fender arches. I assume OP stuck with 17s in order to reuse the stock tires.
  7. How many PETA members does it take to change a light bulb? No one knows. PETA can't change anything
  8. Newer 2.5i's have steelies with wheel covers.
  9. Agreed. I'm not going to want to pay $90 for the set, but somewhere around $60ish wouldn't be out of my comfort range.
  10. You may want to PM tide. He may require you to sign on as a vendor in order to sell these on here. Or you could talk to msprank about pairing up with infamous performance for distribution.
  11. Can't wait for an 08 to find its way into your hands to work some magic on.
  12. ClimberD opens an Infamous Performance shop in Dallas? Complete with transmission builds?
  13. ^On top of what he said, pick up a transmission cooler (trucool 4452 or 4454 are popular options). They're like $50-75 depending on where you get it, and take about 30 minutes to install if you're even halfway mechanically inclined. Can't wait to see the results as an 08-09 VB gets its turn under the knife. I'm debating sourcing parts for a 5 or 6 speed swap, but if this becomes available sooner, I'm in.
  14. I had to roll mine with an 18x8 +45 running a 225 tire. I'm lowered about an inch or so all around though.
  15. Its a love-hate relationship. They're awesome and I get compliments all the time, but I have to wash them like every other day if I want to keep them sparkly.
  16. Whored them out around last month when I first got them, but missed this thread. Time to go to town. Myself and windyroad are on a path to bring the white back. Picked these custom ones up from Ravspec. 17. That sucks man. I keep wanting to see some numbers, but every time you run into a problem. I hope its nothing serious.
  18. Maybe I missed it in my reading, but will these be able to hold up to more power or just shift quicker? I picked up that faster shift times=less friction=cooler fluids/parts=longer life, but how would that relate to more power? Definitely interested in a transgo kit for my 08 though when things work out.
  19. ^ what he said. The springs aren't under that much compression. Keep it close to a corner so the nuts and washers don't fly all over the place and stand back a little bit. The pieces only went a few feet when I swapped mine. And most aftermarket spring are going to allow plenty of room to just use a little weight to compress it enough to get a top hat back on.
  20. That's awesome. Maybe they'll take the ricer civics that rub because of ridiculous spacers and stuff too.
  21. Footwell Illumination walkthrough. Its tied into the dash illumination, so the footwell isn't lit all the time, only when the headlights are in either the parking or head light position. http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/footwell-lighting-walkthrough-156919.html
  22. There's not really a "cheap route" unless you can find a steal for a used rack setup. I got mine used from a member here for $275 (with some other goodies thrown in) and picked up the fresh sesh 4 board/6 ski mount for $110 brand new. I also picked up some SKS cores for like $50 brand new. http://i939.photobucket.com/albums/ad236/flat4LGT/Leggy/DSC01010.jpg
