  1. No idea whether there are any Beatles fans on this forum, but I laid out the $8/mo for Disney+ just to watch Peter Jackson's "Get Back." Having been a fan since I was an early teen...wow! And pardon my restraint with that comment. I may cancel my subscription, but for $1/hour of just this project, fair deal.
  2. Well it will. But it can't land here starting Monday. This shit's never going away. I (believe) I had COVID Turkey Day 2019 (where I avoided attending that time out of typical caution for family), and based on symptoms and antibody positivity in May 2020. This Thanksgiving gathering was abandoned suddenly when my brother was exposed at work to a case from one of his several unvaccinated co-workers turned up sick and PCR positive. Just the planet using one of it's many tools to keep the overpopulation at bay. Time to head to the moon; lots of oxygen in the regolith I hear...
  3. Your turkey might come with a side of CoV-2. Happy holidays.
  4. Henning and everyone else who makes a living treading the planks, are entertainers. Unless, like anybody could, they start making unsubstantiated claims about the capabilities of a preparation they are selling, AT A MOST wholesome and minimal markup to demonstrate my most humble testament to my trust in you to assist my burgeoning family. Bless them, godd…
  5. Had 'em on 3 Subarus and the new car, 20+ years. Never had an issue.
  6. This virus has demonstrated that we are all genetically individual. Since we don’t yet know why a subset of folks get really sick and/or die, this is an opportunity to learn more about the immune system and maybe its genetic predisposition. Or we could just surrender to the conspirators claims. Eric Clapton is no longer “god”
  7. Occupancy depends on a number of factors. The local population, the services offered, the capabilities, esp., emergency, surgical, trauma, etc. Many hospitals are state owned, or at least not established of private enterprise. And those that are religious-based institutions. All the NYC Health and Hospital owned facilities are examples. And in upstate NY there are rural hospitals with literally nothing near the needy at ready and safe distance for their emergent needs when already occupied by COVID sufferers. Thereby, appropriate equipment and support staff are relevant. I can’t breathe versus we’re out of the veal seems an inappropriate comparison. I am enjoying the debate, however, FM… As they say in the PA, apples and dump trucks.
  8. No offense, but that seems a particularly poor analogy. Restaurant's primary goal is to make money. The business in not 24/7. The service staff typically have a financial incentive (tips) and usually don't have a concern their clients suffer/die, so likely less stress than health care workers. Clients typically can make a reservation and don't have an obligation for emergency services, so if the restaurant is 'booked' the clients aren't likely to perish or suffer while attempting to make 'other arrangements...' and beyond clients wearing masks, restaurants don't have infectious disease concerns that hospitals have...but, I could be wrong.
  9. I do! But I wouldn't think garlic butter would be tasty on chocolate muffins.
  10. That's how you can tell real science...it takes data/review/data...time...not just some cowboy saying ivermectin kured his COVID...
  11. Maaaaan, I love the Utah topography. Glad the kids are getting into it!
  12. I respect your opinion. And maybe so. Discussion here ended with a potentially valid concern with using metal crush washer with the Fumoto.
  13. Yikes, man! I need new clip ins after 17 years! So last weekend I had a novel ‘incident’ resulting in an injury. Riding in my local park (old man ride) I attempted to cross what I thought was a flat grass covered area along a roadway only the realize (as I was committed) that it was a ditch. Instinct had me put my right foot down while stopping, then the front wheel hit the other side of the ditch snapping the handle bar (and brake and shifter) to the right mashing my thigh between the frame and the bar, etc. All my weight was on staying upright and it took almost a minute the figure out how to get my balance and get the handle bar off my leg due to the orientation. Then I had little option than to ride home about 5 miles on the mashed quad. Swelling and bruising were my badge of honor. Still not the worse damage I’ve done! Feel free to share grisly injury stories as this thread is a bit slow…
  14. I use the gasket that comes with the valve. Seems like a solid yet compressible composite that would be better than the typical metal washer to mitigate leaks. Good luck!
  15. I have/had these on 4 vehicles and no leaks; the gasket material seems high quality. Not sure how long you've had it on, but did you happen to see if it had loosened up a tad?
