  4. UPDATE: Replaced driver's door latch/mechanism as corrosion caused door unable to be opened from inside or out. Such a nice sunny day in upstate NY I was able to remove the salt/grime and give a proper hand wash. 197,690 mi on the DD. http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i53/michaelhneal/IMG_3059_zpslj8wtcxl.jpg
  5. Just rolled 50k on the spec b. Wagon is just about 198k. A number of issues dealt with. Currently, the driver's door won't unlatch from in or outside due to corrosion on the actuating mechanism. Have replacement part(s) but not sure I'll be able to get the door open to be able to get the door card off...grrrrr...

  14. i doubt the "matte" finish was a conscious style choice...at least the interior is benefiting from a freshener tree!!
  15. Mine is finally installed and working OK, after some trouble with the front UJs hitting part of the body, esp noticeable when making a sharp turn from a stop. NOTE: The DSS piece is excellent, but keep in mind that it has a front UJ that the stocker doesn't. Required a bit of adjustment by way of beating the conflicting underbody piece out of the way and an extra washer to move the shaft away from the body tunnel.
  16. Are you parked on a hill?!? Seriously- clean the stick well, reinsert, remove carefully and check both sides. Sometimes there could be bubbles or surface tension precluding uniform coverage. But, nobody can give ME any guidance! Must be uncharted territory...
