  1. Had some good fun at an autocross this weekend. Not the usual set up, more informal fun kind of day. Gave us 1 warmup lap and 5 timed laps per "session" or run, with 2 runs. Fastest single lap time wins. More like a mini-time-trial. Anyways, here's my video:

    And also, the results... http://www.clemsonscc.org/autox_results/2013-05-04/fun_raw.htm

Notice the Scoobie for the Mature (that's me) ahead of all those Miatas... Mwahaha. I need an RSB.

Looks like a blast, lucky you!

    What's your current set-up?

A matched set of F& R sways along with new struts/springs is a tremendous new feeling. Totally transforms el coche to the point where it gets you in trouble.

  2. Heat - bring the heat. Apply liberal amounts of PBB - allow to soak, then use a plumbers propane torch to heat those bits.

^ This, you have to remember what those parts have been exposed to. Applying heat will loosen up and make things more manageable. It's sort of like warming up and stretching your muscles before a run or workout.

  3. Does anyone have some blown front struts they wouldn't mind donating to me? I feel bad cutting into my perfectly good front struts to install these koni's... 58k miles on these.

58k isn't a bad place to be cutting them open, they've had a good run at that mileage. Unless you're looking into limiting possible downtime, I say cut away.

  4. Haven't had a chance to truly push it, because of snow/ice/rain, but the drive up here has never been so smooth. In fact it road like a dream...minus the seats, I had forgotten how uncomfortable they are for road trips. I'll most likely take her out today and test her out on the great curves/hills they have up here.
