^ This, you have to remember what those parts have been exposed to. Applying heat will loosen up and make things more manageable. It's sort of like warming up and stretching your muscles before a run or workout.

58k isn't a bad place to be cutting them open, they've had a good run at that mileage. Unless you're looking into limiting possible downtime, I say cut away.

Haven't had a chance to truly push it, because of snow/ice/rain, but the drive up here has never been so smooth. In fact it road like a dream...minus the seats, I had forgotten how uncomfortable they are for road trips. I'll most likely take her out today and test her out on the great curves/hills they have up here.

Is anyone interested in a downpipe? 3", wrapped & coated, catted. I can add the tune I bouht for it as well, just need to see if tuner is ok with it. Note: I'll post the FS link when I can get on a computer. Posting from a cell is no fun.
