  1. I am in the same boat, returned to stock midpipe/Y/mufflers after short stint with Greddy and Q300. Because wagon. Catted DP adds enough low RPM grunt to exhaust but allows for quiet cruising.

Liked Q300 for the power but it was too loud for my taste. May be a full 3" exhaust is in my future but it needs to be reasonably quiet.

Looks like we went on the same adventure. I've only had experience with the Stromung and Nameless. I'll get the sound figured out one day

  2. i finally had the time to clean the car in and out after the winter season , put summer tires and did oil change .

so many think i want to do , front end project , it s a big new project ! interior project to finish also , ho! and the members here who never stop asking to develop more parts ! so yes so many many i want to do .this car it s not done yet . but no time , haaaaaaaaa!

I need those wheels. What are they!?

  3. Turbo drain hose, usually gets hard due to high temp and is prone to cracking/leaking.

The coolant bypass line in front of the engine - it gets rusty because it's right on top of exhaust manifold.

Clean/regrease the starter while car is sitting.

Check pass side CV boot, good thing to address too.

This morning I ordered a new one as well as two vacuum hoses and the hose coming off the turbo coolant reservoir. All but the one coming from the reservoir were rock hard (that's what she said).

    Good call on the starter!

  4. Yeah, screw those autos y'all. *Looks tearfully/proudly at 5EAT car*

I was on the way to selling mine. 10 yrs of ownership as the original owner, I started to lust after other cars, so I brought it back to stock. I almost picked up Volvo S60 R design too. The Volvo fell through and figured I should have the GT's engine checked out so it would be ready to sell quickly. After 130K mi, it was perfectly healthy. So, I bought everything I needed to go stage 3.

Like y'all mentioned, there just isn't a car that fills this car's spot without spending a significant amount of money. I couldn't let go of it and thus will ride it into the sunset or into the dirt. Whichever comes first.
