  1. I haven't personally used them but a lot of people don't seem to like them. IMO just from looking at the drop and reading about the specs they lower the car too much and the spring rate isn't high enough for that amount of drop. Plus you are better off with a more moderate drop if you want the stock shocks to last for awhile.
  2. No one has probably tried yet. As long as the struts didn't change any of those aftermarket springs should be good to go. Personally I wouldn't go with Tein. I'd go Swift/Eibach/H&R/Racecomp etc.
  3. Good god that banner is terrible. Looks like the slogan for some craptastic Honda car club or something.
  4. ^ Do either of you care to share the your KW settings? Mine should be arriving this week, was debating creating a new thread specific for KW V3 settings.
  5. Ugh I'm supposed to get mine next week. For the money these things cost they better damn well fix it if something goes awry like that. Keep us updated.
  6. Nice so what did you tap into and where did you route the wires?
  7. Welp assuming it fits well and everything, there goes more of my money.
  8. Yeah I'd like to correct my previous statement, it's only 08+ WRX coilovers that fit I guess. The 08+ STI ones are slightly different than the WRX ones.
  9. Not going to bother spending the money until the RE050A's are dead.
  10. Good to hear. I need to get my lines and pads on, had a seriously close encounter with stopping short on the thruway the other day. Need to stop faster
  11. Yeah makes sense. Magnaflow uses the slip fit joints as well.
  12. Don't believe so. The 08+ WRX coilovers work as long as you use the OEM 5th gen tophats.
  13. Nice write up. This is the kind of stuff that should be stickied.
  14. I see. Do you do much "drifting" other than when it snows out?
  15. All of those lights go off when these cars throw a CEL so I've learned from experience. You might be having an o2 sensor issue if it's running rough.
  16. So after my CNT downpipe fiasco I realized just how close the stock/Invidia downpipe comes to the front sway bar. Does anyone have an aftermarket downpipe like the Invidia with a Whiteline front sway bar? I know they make two, one is 24mm and the other is 26mm.
  17. Better get used to that lightweight flywheel. Let me know when you go.
