  1. Was it over $200? My dads friend who has a machine shop charges $200 for a complete head rebuild on subis, including all new parts.
  2. What did you have them do in the machine shop? A complete rebuild or just clean them up and resurface?
  3. yes the rs25 had the ej251, which is the same as the 3rd gen leggy. Yes that is jb weld holding that piece in.
  4. Ha sunroof drains got another one lol. When i fixed the sunroof in my white subi all the lines were tight but just to be safe I zip tied them just like you, my hoses were in good condition still though.
  5. No problem. I am not looking to make a bunch of money, just helping another member out lol.
  6. I am in milwaukee and have the tools to do the job if you want. I would make you work a little though lol, plus it would cut the time. I have done 2 of these timing belts now. There is no really hard part, just time consuming because you have to take radiators and belts off to make room. It takes about 4-6 hours total.
  7. Even though your sun roof seals properly water still finds its way in. In the sunroof assembly you have water trays that collect the little amount of water and send it down hoses on each a-pillar, front and back. Those lines have been known to clogg or become disconnected. Its a b***h to take apart and check but if you have water in the front and back I would look into it.
  8. Yes you will. You can find maf adapter at autozone if you dont want to wait lol
  9. For the cluster you dont need to swap the whole sluster, just find a tack out of another 2nd gen leggy and put it in place of the blank cover.
  10. If the headgaskets have been done or you can do them yourself then I would take the ej25. The ej22 has nothing wrong with it just less power. A legacy L with a ej22 is not bad, but an outback with an ej22 is underpowered.
  11. Most people say its worth a few mpg. There is a few threads on sl-i about it.
  12. I can't answer your question but the test thing to do to make your door cards new is go to a fabric store and buy 1.5 yards of fabric and redo them. Cost less than $20 for all of the material, fabric glue and foam if you want.
  13. yesterday around 5pm on Rawson ave right off the free way heading east in a 5th gen leggy with a big sticker across the back saying "Legacy 3.6R"
  14. 189700. I'm racking them up fast having to commute for school now lol
  15. Make it a rally car lol. That's what my LGT will be in a few years
