  1. The house: Also Known as "Serenity on the Bluff", the home received its name because it is located in an area of Yates County known as Bluff Point. Bluff Point is the peninsula what separates the East and West branches of Keuka Lake. Long ago the shores of Bluff Point were covered with vineyards and dotted with steam boat landings to ferry people and agricultural products to the three towns on Keuka Lake. Over time the vineyards were abandoned and were gradually replaced with campsites, seasonal cottages and year round homes. This home was finished in the year 2000 and has approximately 4000 square feet of living space. The home includes six bedrooms including one bedroom with a balcony, four full baths. The main floor has an open floor plan including a large living room, dining and kitchen area. There is also a recreation/game room, and huge partially-covered deck. This home faces West and is located near the tip of the peninsula that separates the East and West branches of Keuka Lake. The main floor has an open floor plan, that included a large living room with a wood burning fireplace, dining area, and kitchen. In addition there are three bedrooms, each with its own queen-size bed. Two of the bedrooms face the Keuka Lake. The third bedroom is on the wooded side of the home and has its own private full bathroom with a shower. Off the main hall is a full bathroom with a tub/shower. Adjacent to the dining area is a huge, partially-covered deck. The deck is furnished with tables, chairs, bar set, charcoal grills, play houses for children and the jetted hot tub. The deck is surrounded by a railing/fence with latch-able gates. The deck faces the Keuka Lake and is fantastic for dining, relaxing, and enjoying the breath-taking Keuka Lake sunsets. The upper floor has two huge bedrooms and a full bath with a tub/shower. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, day bed with a trundle and a private covered porch that faces the Keuka Lake. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, day bed with a trundle and faces the Keuka Lake. The lower level has another master bedroom, a semi-private full bath with a shower, laundry room, and recreation/game room. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a propane fireplace, and a sliding glass door that faces the lake. The recreation/game room is equipped with two day beds with trundles, a children's play kitchen, book and video library, game table, foosball/table soccer, full size video arcade games; Atari Road Blasters and Atari Dig Dug, toys, games and puzzles. Additionally, the recreation/game room has a large picture window facing Keuka Lake. The home and yard is surrounded on three sides by woods. There a large off-street parking area for at least nine vehicles. The parking area is at the end of a long semi-private driveway and within 20 feet of the home. Also, adjacent to the deck is a fire ring surrounded by benches. This is a fantastic place to spend a romantic evening or to gather with your family and roast marshmallows under the stars. Fire wood is provided. Access to the lake is located in front of the home via a path and stairway with 128 steps and four landings that weaves around whispering pines and culminates on the 40 plus foot long dock. The shoreline is natural and unspoiled, including a dock, and swim raft. From the shoreline the water has a very gradual increase in depth as one walks into the lake. The lake bottom is hard and consists of shale, stones and rocks of various sizes. Water shoes, sneakers or other foot protection are a recommended due to the natural shale bottom and zebra mussels. 2. Can you ship Taylor Swift?
  3. I might know someone who can tune what you all want. I say, MIGHT. I have not spoken to him in a while and do not know his current employment status/contractual obligations. I will make a call and report back privately if I get any positive traction.
  4. I had a few customers that were always willing to throw paychecks down the money pit and buy anything advertised as "jdm" or "upgrade". I am sure I contributed to the demise of several marriages. Hell, I got sued by some kids mom for the engine build he and his dad ordered. Her credit card covered the tab. I had signed estimates and invoices. I consider myself reformed for telling people to not blow it up. Do as I say, not as I do.
  5. Deposit check has cleared. Our house is almost 25yrs old. Wife wants new floors, kitchen, baths, windows, siding (she wants brick), and a "granny flat" extension. Yeah, when I win the lottery. Mary asked for a she shed for her birthday. Done. My plans for a car are dead. I am sooooo gonna laugh my arse off at Mary's wedding. I am setting that fool up big time.
  6. Up pipe can be solid. Not a fan of flex section near turbo. I meant the turbo inlet tube. Solid sucks. They always break from vibrationwhen running under the manifold. I preferred the AVO inlet tubes. But not sure you can get them anymore. 265k. Stay stock, stay happy. Freshen her up, don't blow her up.
  7. Funny that as the (previously astronomical) price has risen the Fluidamper gets more love now. It used to be like selling a root canal with no pain meds. Customers thought I was insane for installing one on my Forester.
  8. How many miles on the original engine? Sometimes, less is more. -You can spend money on all the "upgrades", but I bet the stock configuration fits your needs just fine. -Studs are nice, but they limit your ability to perform work after the install. Cant pull a head in car with studs. Just saying. -Pan and pick up are nice, but failures are rare. -Do not go for a solid intake pipe. Vibration is your enemy. -New AVCS gears, valves and an oil cooler are a great idea. -NO AOS. -Fuel pump not a bad idea, going through the wiring and all the vacuum lines/fuel lines is a good idea. -My gut says stick to more of the "what can I do to bring her back to new" rather than "what can I do to blow her up".
  9. Memory is like the third thing to go and I cant remember what the first two were. In 5 years I will be a case of full blown dementia. Be going straight blank like Joe Biden at the podium. I was never the "life of the party" and dealing with other humans is not my forte. Amazing I have made it this far with my lack of social grace and overall demeanor.
  10. Mailed off the deposit for the "Finger Lakes" rental yesterday. It is now official.
  11. Life happens. I dont have a Subaru. It has been over 5 years since I actually worked on one. I find myself slipping, and not remembering everything anymore. Maybe I am not as much assistance as I once was. Long ago it was the "what upipe" questions that drove me insane. Now its almost every question. If I am not shaking my head at the (in my mind) ludicrous questions/statements... its the absolute zero knowledge questions looking for a savior. The cars got older, the owners got younger. This place makes me feel OLD. I am losing my patience with the younger generation(s) as I transition to the grumpy old man stage of life. But I am still "here". ECM 2024 is in June and i will be attending. Mailed off the deposit yesterday. Its been several months now with no car at all. But my sig rig is getting well worn in. I might need new seat cushions already, lol. @KZJonny I finally found my '72 510 and 72' 240z (along with hundreds of other cars and tracks). Been driving them both in the LA canyons, Pacific Coast Highway, etc. (with and without traffic). Took a bit of your advice and turbo'd the 510, lol.
  12. Wow to $16k? Wow. I miss seeing Ken sun scorched red in the face hawking gear from under an EZ-Up trackside in the So Cal desert during motox season. Before DC shoes. Does that show my age? RIP Ken, you were WAY cool. @JJBerk, you had me at "hello". Donation made. Sorry I can't make the drive.
  13. I will hit up Byron again. He never replied to my first. Its official. Wife and daughter say he is coming to ECM. So far the ladies prefer the moniker "Teddy", I vote "Pedro". Me thinks I am losing this battle.
  14. Dont have to bring the wagon, cars are nice. But your company is looked forward to even more than the cars.
  15. ECM 2024 - Keuka Lake, NY House rental reserved for: June 6 2024 @ 4pm - June 13 2024 @ 10am (Weekend is 7/8/9)
  16. The "used" parts containers were at his shop. I lost count at a dozen. If it was in one of those containers I could have it free. Thats were I found the sb for my Forester, lol. Raping those containers kept my 10.5:1 engine build cost down to about $1500. Took me a year to collect all the parts though.
  17. 15% off on a SB is good. I am still in contact with one place that makes BIG order direct from Fuji. But I would need to by a lot to get in. More money than I could get my hands on and more inventory than I would want to deal with. But I remember being "baller" enough a shop to get in on the buys and pick up a Uhaul full of SB's, water pumps, oil pumps, etc. From the driveway of the REAL BALLER SHOP OWNER who had multiple Conex boxes stacked like his own port of entry.
  18. Ok... No BS, if you want SB's I can get them. BUT your "maybe 10-20" buyers is NOT a group buy on sb's. You are not going to get a great price from a dealership. They make 95% of their profit on parts, not car sales. They buy the parts at a mark up and then mark them up again. The trick is going direct to Japan. I can get you SB's at 50% off, but I need a minimum of 100 buyers. Thats how the big boys do it. I have seen cargo containers of SB's delivered. I have gone in on the buys. 5k short blocks, 10k water pumps, orders like that. You need to fill a 30ft Conex box with short blocks to get a real discount.
  19. All I see are those mileage numbers in your sig. I "think out loud" man how do they keep them going without a rebuild, I never made it past 100k with an EJ. The shot from the peanut gallery hits me "It was downright frightening sitting passenger with you at the wheel". What/when I reply to the wall. "Like, from the moment I met you until you owned the shop and Mary was born" laughs back at me from out of sight. I dont recall any of that I retort. "The road is my racetrack, I pay taxes and they built it for me, hmmmmmmmmmm. You were that asshat for so long". I love you too!
  20. Is that an offer. I have never seen a "fluffer" before. Only heard the stories. This could be interesting.
  21. Not to scare anyone with numbers I was going to attempt to break it down even further. I plan to stay the entire week, I assume not everyone will. I do not expect anyone to cover my "extra" days. I won't get down to per person, per day - lake view or not - bath attached or not as I am not that big of an a-hole. But, I do want to be as fair and equitable as possible. If Johnny wants to pitch a tent in the yard and bathe in the lake I do not expect him to pay $419. If John installs a zip line from his room to Johnny's tent or maybe a pulley system to haul up baskets of beer, then $419 is definitely the going rate.
  22. Built my first "robot". Simulate wind with speed, speed with curving and drafting. Can set manual minimum and max speeds or can have max speed auto adjust with car individual cars. 540 total cfm, which is enough to blow my hair off (if I had any). 100% is more like a roller coaster ride. I have been dialing down my setting to 60-70% speed for open cockpit F1 and 50% for Miatas and Lotus. Tech is friggin amazing.
  23. Oops, 1st floor queen bed facing lake. Lots of rooms and beds.
