  3. spotted dannyboy in Albany this morning, nice wagon ; )
  4. The thread i posted has alot of that info. Supposedly the only hard part is the front bumper area. But if you have some patience, it should last quite a while.
  5. wow $300? So tempting... the lowest quote i got to fix my bumper was $450 from Maaco, $600 from body shops. I was leaning towards white, but I heard the white material is slightly transparent, and could show some of the dark paint from underneath, wet t-shirt styles.
  6. It's definitely an acquired taste, it took me a while to warm up to it. Here's another car that got wrapped (arctec34) http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/lgt-project-matte-black-vinyl-wrap-139713p38.html?t=139713&page=38&highlight=matte+black http://berzindesign.com/vinyl/lgt.jpg
  7. Dirty black would be brown, and would be dirtier in some areas more than others (rear bumper, wheel wells, etc). That looks like the same shade of matte black consistently from the back to mid panels. Even the part that seems brighter above the rear wheel, it doesn't have the glossy effect. I've been contemplating a wrap for so long, can't decide between white and matte black. I scratched my bumper a couple months ago, and the quotes i've been getting to repaint just the bumper costs more than the cost of materials of a full car wrap.
  8. Whoah that looks awesome. I totally want to do that too.
  9. I wish you guys were up here. My car was leaking oil after my turbo install, and i can't seem to stop it =\ The shop I took it to quoted me 2 hrs initially, but my car's been there for a week now...

  11. QSM Spec.B today around noon on hwy 680/80 in Concord To the passenger, sorry I didn't wave sooner, couldn't tell you were a spec.b from the front =\
  12. Ahh, I was thinking about waving, but there's 3-4 Legacies I see in that area during my commute in the morning, and none of them are on here I think so I stopped waving. What are you getting from wheeldude? I was just there last wednesday to pick up tires.
  13. Hey kool, yah it was ; ) Was that you going east on Trimble at the stop light?

  16. Hey Ktm, welcome to the bay! check out i-club.com, most of the regular local meets are scheduled through there. http://www.i-club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=91 If you're in Belmont/San Mateo, the Daly City meet is every Saturday, and there's a Mountain View meet Thursday nights as well. The Daly City meet usually has a good showing, and the Wednesday night meet in Fremont or Friday night in South San Jose also get a good size crowd. Maybe we can setup a drive one weekend before you leave? If you enjoyed 152, you'll love Skyline =)
  17. This afternoon on 880n & Mission rd around 6:15pm. QSM Spec.b exiting off 880 and onto Mission Rd east.
  18. How did you know? Yup Europe was awesome! Wedding planning craziness has started... looks like no BBK or turbo for me until next year =\
  19. OBP wagon spotted on Cottle Rd. then 85N. What springs/exhaust are you running? Looks good!
  20. Tuesday afternoon in South San Jose, silver LGT Wagon w/ tint and wheels (couldn't tell what kind) on Santa Teresa making a left onto Bernal. Looks good!
  21. Pages 1-25 of this thread are no longer needed. MSprank is all Socal needs now.
  22. Was there anything special the 08-09 guys had to do to get the amber off? I thought I read somewhere that it's not as easy as the 05-07 guys. Did you just break it off?
  23. Looks great! Any chance you could take some vids on how you apply the vinyl?
  24. In for results, I've been thinking about coverting mine to matte white. A car shop in southern california quoted me $2k to do the whole car in matte white, $300 is a super deal! Is installing this stuff like installing window tint? I'm defenitely interested in giving this a try.
