  1. Thanks for the info! I probably wouldn't start from scratch, I'd rather buy one that's made and transfer my LGT powertrain over (STI 6mt + EFR 7163 +closed deck forged block). There was a local one for sale for $10k, but the panels weren't that flush. I'll probly keep lurkin until I see the right one come up for sale again. Or if you guys plan to sell yours ; )
  2. 818 is going to be my next build - your thoughts on its handling vs a wrx/sti/lgt?
  3. RBP LGT Wagon with "SUBI LFE" plates spotted at the Ahwanee/Majestic Lodge in Yosemite this past weekend
  4. do they make adjustable shifters for 5th gens? When I had a cobb 6mt STS, you could make the throw longer/shorter and the longer throw would make it less notchy, shorter throw would be more. 08lagacy - get redline or motul
  5. Good to hear man, wow your boy is 2 already? Wow time flies - it gets better closer to 3 when they can do lots more stuff. Yup got a 5mt SWP wagon, and I actually just bought Franz's red sedan today. Gonna move all his parts (turbo, motor, 6mt, brakes) over to my wagon next weekend.
  6. Can't wait to get back on the track and scalp some "fast cars".
  7. Hey mac, car's looking good man. Hope you and the fam are well!
  8. The place I passed 3 years ago while stage 2 failed me in Nov for having an aftermarket up pipe with an oem DP and exhaust. Then I failed again after I didn't have enough miles on the monitors after I swapped everything back in... Then came the tricky part of driving enough miles to turn on all the smog monitors while having expired tags lol.
  9. semi relieved that it didn't sell. Now I'm anxious of trying to part out & sell my old cars to get this one xD
  10. If it doesn't meet reserve pricing, I will be selling my current wagons to get this one if we can agree on a price.
  11. Last weekend I spotted my twin - White LGT Wagon at Pacific Lighthouse in Alameda. Lowered w/ a wagon mafia sticker, looking clean!
  12. Fascinating, thanks for sharing! The S402 suspension sounds ideal, are those springs also progressive or more linear? Are they the same height as the other pink springs? The only reason I went from my bilstein/STI pink setup was cuz i wanted stiffer. Had I known of this S402 option I would have probably gone for that. Thanks again for your thorough documentation, always fun to learn more about these cars! Amazing to see this built from the ground up.
  13. Can you share where you got the 7.6k rates from? If I knew they were that stiff I would consider those as well, the bilstein/pink setup was my favorite on my spec.b This site is saying 257/lbs (4.5k) for the fronts and 217 (4k) for the rear. https://www.edoperformance.com/products/sti-pink-springs-front-rear-05-legacy-gt-at ps: those seats look amazing!
  14. The pink springs are 7.6k? I didn't know they were that stiff, I thought they were in the 200-300 lb range.
  15. awesome looking wheels! That's exactly the style I'm looking for. Where'd you get them from?
  16. impressive work, well done. Here I am too lazy to grease my front sway bar bushings
  17. Hey mac, had no idea you did so much work to your car, looks great! I'm thinking of adding more bracing as well this year. Lemme know if you pull the trigger on anything & how you like it.
  18. Bump, anyone have a USDM ROM they can share? I'm guessing they different for 5mt and 6mt?
  19. Does anyone know if third gen struts will bolt onto a 4th gen if using 4th gen tophats?
