Hey everyone, My brother curbed his forrester pretty bad and is looking for a shop in the Rowland Heights area. Unfortunately he's in the middle of a move + new job so he doesn't have time to go to IPT. It looks like he bent his control arm + anything else that can happen after hitting a curb too fast while turning. Any other local recommendations where he can go? Most likely will be an insurance claim.

We were on our way to a photoshoot in SF =) My car is on SSR GT2's plastidipped black. Were you on XXR's or Torques? How wide are your wheels, they looked nice and concave.

I tried that before also, but my car shifts smoother if i stay on the gas.

I just bought an 05 wagon that came with an 18g + fuel mods. 1-2 & 2-3 shift fine, but when I do a WOT pull in 3rd, at 5k rpm's exactly it starts to bounce off the rev limiter. I haven't gotten 4th gear up to 5k. If I manually shift at 4500, it's fine, rev limiter only hits if i stay on the gas trying to get higher RPM's. I've searched and found 3 options: 1) engine revs faster than tranny can shift (fixed with this VB mod) 2) worn clutch packs 3) ECU/TCU tune issue Anyone experience something similar?

At first I wasn't going to do the KillerB oil pick up & motor mount install because I heard it was a pain, but after reading this thread it doesn't sound too bad. Are the motor mounts doable if I jack up the engine & remove the pitch stop?

I guess good thing I strayed away from that... almost got that same turbo. A BNR 16g came up locally, so I'm just gonna push that hopefully for a long while. I hate that smell of burning oil lol. Since I had trouble with the FP oil line, even my wife is super sensitive now to any funny smells coming through the vents. "Is that the truck in front of you, or is it your car?"
