McDowell Performance Tunin

picked up a 94 Legacy L sedan 5MT for $375. Fixed a few things, put about the same amount back into it, including tires, runs like a champ and only has 140K miles. Nothing like my 06 LGT, but does awesome in the snow and runs great.

Just changing the fuel pump shouldn't cause knock, as it will pump out gas at the rate the ecu dictates, assuming nothing changed on your map. Try reseting your ecu. If your fuel filter was dirty, it could cause some issues. What was the reason for upgrading your pump?

Was down in San Jose area for an annual golf trip. Saw a black 05-06 LGT, no spoiler, at the airport. I think it had Utah plates, but didn't get a good look.
