  1. The digital speedo on my 07 ZX10R would read up to 189mph. It wouldn't read any higher, but the revs would still keep climbing. Tucked in, it wasn't too bad, but if anything or anyone pulled out... pretty safe to say my doner card would have been used. I only did that a few times. But, just passing cars, it was amazing how quickly the speed climbed. I'll get another liter bike again, but would like to get a dirt bike first. I love dune riding and there are some good spots around.
  2. Will be back in SLC next week and will tune ncfree's 3.6R. Doing a road open source tune, via Tactrix cable and ECUFlash/RomRaider. Will do logs before to get some base info and pulls to base gains. I've been meaning to more aggressively push 3.6R tuning, but have just been too busy. If you plan on, or are wanting an OS tune, stayed tuned for results. This will be on 91 at about 4500ft, so the impact on power is much more significant, compared to sea level. I know he's trying to get an upgraded intake as well, to replace the drop in filter. Also running q300. Nate, if I missed anything, let me know :)
  3. I hate SF. There is no parking. Traffic sucks. The roads almost dismantle my suspension at 10mph. And, it is next to impossible to find a public bathroom.

     

    That said, there are a lot of available and great looking women here (SF)

     

    I dropped in to pick up a tourist visa to Brazil.

    Went there a lot in HS for concerts. It was always a nightmare to find parking and to get in and out, via the bay bridge. The weather was always a nice change from the valley (usually) as it's much cooler in the summer. reminds me of a smaller version of NYC.

  4. We're renting for a year, since we just moved here (Oklahoma City). We are actually renting a three bedroom two bath house for the same price as our apartment in SLC. One good thing for us, is my wife was in the National Guard long enough that we'll qualify for a VA loan (no money down and no PMI with a very low rate). We will look to buy next May. Housing is dirt cheap here, compared to what I'm used to seeing. It would be nice to put some roots down somewhere. Feel like I've been a nomad for over 10 years.
  5. I think one is driver side wideband sensor and the other is passenger wideband sensor but I might be wrong. There are a bunch of different af readings from different parts of the car. Here are just a few of the readings you can monitor.

    Unless your Tactrix cable is plugged into your car, it will show you every single parameter for every car it works with. It doesn't mean you will have it available for your car. Once it's hooked up to the car, you'll know which parameters you have available.

    Be kind... first attempt using my TASCAM DR-05 with this 311 cover. One take. I need to get better head phones as they kept trying to come out. Also had some fluctuations in my timing because of it. Enough excuses. Let me know what you guys think. 311 - I'll be here a while - acoustic version with drums added :)

  7. With e85 and a 20g, you're going to have a hard time not over boosting. Especially if you're not running any wgdc and still hitting 19psi. I take it you are still on the stock BCS? I didn't see a 3 port in your build list. I would remove the restrictor pill until you get a 3 port. Should prevent you from over boosting.
  8. thanks for the heads up. that's why i asked cuz i wasn't sure about tohe whole unmarrying thing. i wish i could buy it for 400 right now but i don't have that amount of liquid cash right now. if its still around after my next paycheck I'll be on top of it. also does that mean that car's ecu that this thing is still married to is screwed until he gets another one and reflashes it?

    He would un-marry it before sending it to you, so no worries

  9. Go ahead, be a sucker that doesnt do their research.

     

    Dont do it. Its probably stolen. Its married to another car and wont work on yours until it is reset, and Cobb charges like $300 to unlock it.

     

    I will sell you mine, the newer version of the V2 (has a single plug socket on the bottom and newer style cord) and in perfect shape, with a Proto mount, for $400.
