IAG called me to let me know my tires came in today and were mounted on my wheels ahead of time and everything is ready for my Monday appointment. Shweet! Can't wait to get them back on the Prius without balance issues!

IAG quoted me $100 for mounting and balancing since I ordered my tires through them. They order through Tire Rack.

Not sure anymore. I had free tire maintenance through my old car with the dealer. I have a friend that works there. Not sure if he can overlook that my new car doesn't have that maintenance package. Will have to give him a call sometime or just swing by.

Figure Finishing seems like a good shop. They have a 6 week lead time ATM.

My daughter is becoming a car model... NOOOOOO!! Took a few pics of the new car and she just happened to stick her head out of the drivers window to enjoy the wind.

How did he handle the 4 hour drive? I think at 6 mo. old he spent most of it sleeping or feeding

Are you consistent with discipline? I feel as though some people confuse consistency with tough love or being too strict.

I did feel bad for this one boy. He was about 2.5 yrs old and his parents told him on many occasions to "man up". I organized a small group of kids and one of their parents to get ice cream one evening after dinner, his parent often walked ahead of him (5-10 feet) apparently too impatient to walk as slow as him. The kid was definitely the least happiest of the bunch.

In other parenthood news... My daughter and I had a blast this weekend hanging out with my friends and other kids her age over the Memorial Day weekend. We all spent the weekend at a friends beach house with a number of other couples and their kids. Since we were all in the same house and did the same activities, it was the first time I was really able to focus on seeing each of the parents personalities and how it's reflected in their kid both negative and positive.

Anyone wanting to get rid of a Power Wheels or know someone who wants to? I'm looking to picked up one used in just about any condition as long as the price is right. I prefer it be a model with two speed forward and one speed reverse

Ohh a lessons learned to share for those planning on having a pinata at your child's birthday party... When filling the pinata, DO NOT pack the pinata full with candy so that the candy can't bounce around. Only fill the pinata it about 1/2 way. If you pack it full so the the candy can't freely move around, then you will have broken candy by the time the pinata breaks enough for candy to fall out. Filling the pinata all the way also makes it a bit harder to break.
