  3. Its A loaner program. you pay for the tool and when you bring it back you get refunded. they have engine hoists and stands at the store I used to work at back in 03-04 so i don't see why a trans jack wouldn't be in the inventory.
  4. Triple dare??? Wow. Untwist the undies dude. They were suggestions. Netbooks come complete. An EEE 7 has a 7 inch screen IIRC, the 1000 has a 10 inch screen much like my toshiba. If it doesn't have bluetooth, a simple dongle can fix that and even a PS3 keyboard should work. There are also programs out there to turn half the touchscreen phones out there into a mouse or keyboard. They also sell mini kb with built in thumbstick (like the PS3's) for you to use as a mouse (and wireless to boot). More accurate than IBM/Lenovo little red stick. As for the powerup issue, I claim no expertise whatsoever on the matter, but if I were to brainstorm, there are settings that permits computers to power up via key press. Any key. There is also IR blasters that solve that as well (HP zd and dv series have these features). You can turn the computers on and off via the control. Another option is to put the computer to sleep on powerdown, my Netbook uses as little as 8 watts when on and on eco mode. One sleep mode I assume it shouldn't use more than a couple of LED's worth of juice. My $0.02. Take it as what it is, a suggestion.
  5. the EEE comes in as little as a 7 inch screen. that has got to be smaller than your glovebox, they're cheap now, all you should need is monitor and keyboard, as well as some way to power/turn off/charge it.
  6. Won't a netbook fit in the glovebox? output monitor to dash, BT keyboard with integrated mouse. something like an EEE 9 or something?
  7. yea, only took me 2-3 seconds to spot yours.... you need to distract me and keep me looking. kinda like trying to find an ugy chick in a bikini competition....
  8. Anyone else noticed black rims in that picture? i know, took me days to spot it...
  9. I am waiting for the next genius to mention putting an Ipad in their legacy. tasteless waste of money and destroy their interior...
  10. These are a few reasons. however, i have not heard of anyone getting hit by using an android with either PDANET or EASYTETHER. just keep your browsing/downloading to a fair amount. (like well under 5gb) to not raise flags. I use my Cliq with netbook every so often to hop on facebook or check emails and stuff that is easier on there than a phone. also NOKIA phones are better at tethering. some can even do it via bluetooth with no hacking whatsoever (my N900 does it fine but proved too much phone for me. put it back in the box and its up for sale after 3 weeks of use.) http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/SmartSpending/blog/page.aspx?post=1754687 http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/htc-touch-touch-dual/102501-sprint-start-hitting-touch-users-1st-tethered-charges.html http://www.evdoinfo.com/content/view/2706/63/
