  1. Shocker you are confusing the post I wrote is for a member in Miami not up there (RXL1972 not Esnaggs). I would love to hit you up to help install my BNR Turbo (I usually do most work myself).
  2. Leo , I have a DP but unfortunately its an MT one. If you want to modify it you are welcome to take it. RXL1972 -I highly recommend Wales garage in Hollywood. Ben is the shop owner and is a Subie tuner and racer. He can do anything from mild to wild (fully built engines) his work is top notch. Another good place is Velocity factor in Boca But thats a bit far from Homestead. I always drive further to get better service/work, it makes a difference who you go to. Had too many bad experiences with idiot grease monkeys.
  3. Welcome Guad, I'm a stone's throw from you (Davie). PM me if you are interested in Autocrossing your Spec B. I'm the pied piper of Leggies down South. Next one in Jan.
  4. I had the same issue when I first installed my ION spring/Koni setup . Lots of squeaking over bumps at low speed. For some reason they eventually settled and now its barely noticable.
  5. Oh wow, I might be up that way mid NOv anyhows. I'll have to check it out. This Sunday Mini meet in Homestead (outside the motorsports complex in the Kart track). A couple of us will be there. Pete o
  6. Just a reminder to the South Fla Subie folks not this but next Sunday the 17th of Oct we will have a mini meet at Homestead raceway (Kart track) during an Autocross. Two others have confirmed
  7. Alright South Floridians, here is your chance . Organizing a mini meet in Homestead Oct 17 at the Homestead Raceway (Kart track) club Autocross. Mauro and RXL72 and others , PM me for details.
  8. Welcome to Soflo RXl72, you are joining just a few of us down here. BTW we meet for autocross at Homestead speedway when they run down there (should be in Oct) . PM me for details.
  9. Just a reminder, Don't forget about the idea of a florida meet in October in Sebring.
  10. It takes sveral days if not weeks for the springs tro completely settle
  11. Based on many spring installs I believe it takes around 1 month for them to settle .
  12. MSI is motor Sports International- a small Canadian tuner for high end parts (street and race) for Subies. They make a few items like Beefy endlinks and lateral links
  13. Not necessarily, just more pronounced on the wagon.
  14. My Avatar shows how low my Ride used to be in the front. I'll try to get a pic up of current vs old setup.
  15. Thanks, Oct sounds like a plan. Gives us plenty of time to organize. As long as we don't have any tropical spinners at that time.
  16. Leo we talked about it last year. Let us know when your club runs the autocross in Sebring as that may be a good venue for a meet
  17. I would agree that looking for stiffer springs is not the way to go. Even though I didn't have rubbing issues with 225 18's in the back with swifts (probably as low or lower than Cobb) the tires sat tucked under the Fender . That was improved when I switched out to the ION HD rears that are slightly higher and stiffer and made for the heavier wagon . These springs can also be used on sedans. I had rubbing issues up front that was corrected with the taller IONS.
  18. Youz Orlando guyz gots more Leggies than us down hea in SOflo. How about a meet between the mid and lower half of the state sometime this year
  19. Subscibed, can't wait to install my Wilwoods (been sitting in the garage for over a month). I may try the porterfields as per your review
