  1. They're actually Hyper Black - But they almost match the color the of the car, and look pretty shiny when Waxed and sealed. Although that angle does really make them look more chrome, but only the lips are chrome - just like above.
  2. Ahheeeheeeem: (nanananananana:cool:) MY LGT with 18"EV5s (Post #1766) They are actually pretty rare - I've only seen about 3 other cars total with them:wub: PS - they look pretty good on blue cars too;)
  3. Well - For ~$350 and 5 minutes worth of work the ATEQ Quickset seems to be the answer ($150) & 4 Sensors (~$50 each = $200) Tirerack even lists that they can supply 4 Sensors for a 2009 LGT for $144 ($36/Each), you just need to get them programmed, so spending $1K just for sensors that don't need to programmed is ludicrous:cool:
  4. SSR GTV01 is much better looking:cool: http://www.ssr-wheels.com/images/gtv01/flatblack_lrg.jpg or SSR Professor SP-1 http://www.ssr-wheels.com/images/sp1/black_lrg.jpg http://www.ssr-wheels.com/gallery/image.axd?picture=2013%2F9%2Fthumb_Miller_15.jpg
  5. Yup - Brilliant Silver LGT with Enkei EV5s parked in between two STI Hatches:p:cool: Some pretty cool cars....
  6. And FYI - If you took it extremely easy on that 1 hour ride you MAY be OK.... My 1st Turbo went south in NJ and I drove it back to CT without ever boosting more than 2 PSI and there were no engine issues.... 2nd the car was shut down immediately.... But you definitely need to at least pull the oil pan and inspect for metal shavings (at a minimum) And I feel like my saving grace is that I run Amsoil, there's less risk if you are running a good synthetic:p It's really car/case specific if the Turbo takes out the engine, but there is some hope:redface:
  7. I got some at Home Depot a while back when I ran out while wrapping my Header;)
  8. I'm going to guess they're not a forum member:p
  9. My Enkei EV5s are +45 offset with 225/40/18s and they sit slightly further outside the fenders than stock.... But it's barely noticeable, and no drop in height at all. FYI that's the recommended tire size and a recommended wheel from Tirerack, so you can feel confident it's a non issue for fitment. See page 118 of this thread for quick photo.
  10. http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/vdc-vtc-4eat/79787-4eat-basic-information-faq.html http://www.northursalia.com/techdocs/pdf/transmission/4eat.pdf Level10 4EAT BulletProof Rebuild
  11. Hartford - Parking in the lot next to Mckinnons pub ~ 6 PM. Looked like an 07-08 Silver GT with a big CTSubbie sticker on the back window. I was right behind ya pulling in, and was gonna stop and say hi, but by the time we got out of the car you were already long gone Probably went to the CT Whale game as it was gone when we got out of the game.
  12. Could have been the wifey... She was late for a meeting in Shelton that morning..... I only remember as she only goes down there about 2x a year and that date sticks in my head:cool: Funny how I never get spotted in the 98 and I drive down 187 almost every day:hobbes:
  13. 05 Silver GT @ the Triple Crown Kayak Races in East Granby / Tarrifiville CT on Saturday:D Was funny cause the wife actually noticed and said hey look it's our car why did you park it here when we can walk from the house:p
