  1. Ive posted both the ABP wagon and the RBP wagon on here before...but no response. I Ive never seen the GRP sedan before.:spin:

    And of course...I see your car almost everyday.

    I guess the owners of those two wagons are older guys - I mean even older that I am :lol:, it didn't look like they are on this board - no waves, no responses, no mods :lol:

    I believe that sedan has a trunk spoiler but not really sure - never had a chance to slow down and take a longer look - one can get rear-ended easily at that curve :lol:

    I expect to have those Dunlops mounted on MB wheels in a week or so on my car, we'll see how good they look. :)

  2. Around/Off Jefferson Blvd in Warwick RI I saw:

    - ABP LGT wagon parked almost daily at whatever business is behind D'Angelos - I waved few times but no response; the owner drives from somewhere around East Greenwich - we drove up I95 once starting from merge of Rt 4 N and I95 N side by side;

    - GRP LGT Sedan parked almost daily at Brooks administrative building, never saw the driver;

    - 2008 2.5i ABP Legacy sedan few times across from Zebra building of Plan way - waved and driver waved back;

    - RBP LGT Wagon parked at some office building towards northern end of Jefferson,car looks stock; again never saw the driver.

  3. i saw an ABP LGT sedan today around 10:15 off of Jefferson Blvd in Warwick, RI . i was in the brown Dodge Sprinter going the opposite direction, i waved but dont think you saw.

    I see a whole bunch of brown trucks, Sprinters including off Jefferson Blvd pretty much every day :lol: Boy, do some of them stink :lol::lol::lol:

  4. Not to take away any credit to Jazzy and his Aux -in board, but I installed Mike Vigneau's Aux - in board that doesn't need or use a silent cd. I still have full use of all my cd slots. It works great, I-Pod levels are almost an exact match to the radio level. Perhaps not too many know about this alternative. I just did not want to use a silent CD.

    interesting. Any links ? :rolleyes:

  5. i have had mines installed for a while now and when im driving the sound just randomly cuts to one side and stays there, i have pulled the stereo out and made sure it wasnt the ribbon cable and replaced the input cable as well.

    any ideas on what i should try doing

    Have similar thing happening to my HU - right side was cutting off when I was installing the HU back. Looks like HU harness issue. I positioned the harness such that sound is fine, and so far I haven't had any issues.

    I know that is not a fix; I'll be installing BT module soon and will try to fix it then.

  6. George, try also talking to another member of this forum - tehac. He's from Czech Republic and seems to have good experience with aftermarket electronics and mods for Subies (check the thread about Parrot CK3100 kit install). Your location shows that you're in Romania so you both should be having JDM cars. I looked through info exchange on forum tehac posted link to here, and they discussed Jazzy board there as well.

    Another way to check is to try taking the HU on your car apart following Jazzy's installation instructions and see if boards/connectors look the same as on USDM models. I would expect them to be similar if not the same since HU in USDM Legacies come from Japan anyway.

    Hope this helps.

  7. I had similar issue with antenna connector - couldn't find it when was installing HU back into console.

    What happened in my case was that antenna connector got unclipped from wall and then fell into opening between left side wall of console and carpet. The problem was made worse by the antenna cable that also routed itself between console wall and carpet. I couldn't see the antenna connector until I looked into console opening from the right side - that is, from passenger side, almost at seat level.

    Hope this helps.

  8. Finished Jazzy board install last night. Works great, sound quality is excellent, and best thing- no wires hanging around ! The only funny thing is that I can hear my MP3 player output on the background when I select FM/AM. Does not bother me much though :lol:

    Will try to get couple other people with 05 Legacies to get it, I am even willing to help them with install.

    Great mod, thanks a lot !

    Jazzy, you should really come up with some touchscreen mod for non-Navi Subarus :lol:

  9. I exchanged waves with a RBP LGT wagon today on Centerville Rd in Warwick...I think it might have been SubOperator. :iam:

    No mysteries here, it was me. :) Was hauling kids back home from YMCA.

    Btw, no front plate on me purely due to request from older son. Me like it too !
