any one ever notice that the car doesnt spool as quick after this? i had to add spacers to the pipe with the springs (i always call this out as the wrong pipe) and it sounds Awesome - WRC style bubbley and such, but it seems to be about 3-400 rpm shy now. doesnt seem to punch as hard below 3K any more, more of a gradual rise instead of a rocket boost like it did before.. Im going to experiment with it, as it seemed fine with 1 less spacer, but didnt have the same kind of sound...

when i was a teenage, one of my friends put like 60% tint on his cavalier. got pulled over ALL the time for it its like a 35$ fine (or it was then) I think a wagon, with moderate tint (MAYBE 30%) would be pretty easy. Plus I could say it came with the car, and passed inspection so... When i was looking at new wagons, i went to a dealer that had an OB XT that had like 40% tint all around. I asked the dealer and he was all "err, umm, well, you see...you could remove it if you think its illegal. I dont do the inspections so i dont know...." was quiet funny! damn it, i want tint, but stupid NJ doesnt allow front tint! I got 2 years before re-inspection, but I dont wanna pay 2-300$ and have to tear it off for one day in 18 mths

apprently that part didnt fix it, now they need to replace the BIU They want 700$ - Damn it, I thought doing it my way was going to be SAFER Is there a way to fix the BIU? Can you get a used one? 700$ for a dome light is a bit silly

Just got word from my scoobie dealer, itll be 70$ to replace whatever went thats keeping my dome light on. This is with the 100$ deductable. Hopefully that fixes it! I dont know if they are replacing the BIU or something else. Ill know on thursday Then maybe ill re-attempt this at a later time...

well SOA assumes you know what the dealer is going to do BEFORE they do it and therefore would have allowed them to put it in your engine

There is no dome fuse. There Are a couple of light ones, Like ILM 15A, but all the ones that seemed illumination based were all fine. pulled the wires from the dome light and undid them incase there was a short, but no, still no off w/ doors. The light is less bright on that mode, but still doesnt turn off... HHMmmmm

well i have a basic understanding of electrical systems and know how to pull apart my car and put it back together, but i Dont know the Specific dome light circuit. Figured if you knew enough to mod it you might know what I did. If not, ill look at it tomorrow and fix it myself

But what? I got no experiance with the electrical system of the dome light. What should I look for, any fuses?

Couldnt you just run a pair of LEDs into the bulb area that are constant "On" connected to the dome switch? Dome comes on, lights up LEDs?

actully I had to take them out and Re-do it because to much of the amber showed through, now its much thicker, and still works great!

I still like the stockers spray painted silver, much easier, and you always can get replacements! Still shine amber too!

what about going through inspection? Im going to toss in a set of orange bulbs before I go to increase my chances but I really dont want to fail for that Will they notice theres no reflector? I mean i know its their job, but if it blinks orange are they going to care? I Really dont want to have to re-bake my lights to put it in, and then again to take it out >:-( Did it perfectly with no silicone on my first attempt!

I couldnt get the PB Blaster at Pepboys - So i picked up some liquid wrench. See how it goes over the next few days

It stops both after changing just the driver? or inital chime? (i am assuming you need to mod both seatbelt connectors)
