hey man, i had the same problem when i went through, but I figured id try first and go back if I had to no Problems! no one seemed to care that my lights were clear, as long as they blink and they blink orange... Mine are actully the normal bulb spray painted silver, so the orange doesnt come through all that great, and it still passed. I REALLY wouldnt bother with the hog removable or the DRL's - they dont give a crap about that. At least in jersey, they plug into the computer, and as long as you have no codes - you pass..

Im on the other end, I get NO light no one happens to have a BIU up for sale eh?

thats what i said too - and the switch sheared off the plastic wire housing, and shorted out the BIU any damn way >:<

I used those exact pins and they worked perfectly, but I ONLY did AUX - No steering wheel controls on the 05's

I just painted the stockers with some silver paint I had around, worked perfectly..

A: I am good at soldering. I dont know why because I was avoiding it you assume I cant do it B: Because soldering is permanant. If I had some type of warrenty issue, I didnt want it to be voided because I soldered wires in, (because we all know even if We know it has nothing to do with it, stealerships are always looking for ways out) where as if it was just a wire wrapped around with tape, it would be easily reversable.

Well I was trying to be safe, and not solder anything, and used 2 LEDs in the maplight area wired to the dome light.. Worked fine for about 5 minutes, until the switch cut through the plastic shielding, and shorted the damn thing! :doh!!!!!: So in my attempts to be more safe and not blow it out, i did anyway. Pisses me off to no end, but now ive gotten so used to it...

I thought of that too, but thats a long run, and i dont know if the puddle light circuit could take the extra voltage (since the one for the interior is so sensitive..) I did hear that some junkyard in CA is selling BIU for ~200$ which i might get, but ive had my lights off for so long now..

Under hard accel the other day, i broke the bolt holding my pipe together, now im running a straight pipe Wow is that loud, but fun!

I saw 2 this AM On Clements Bridge Rd in Deptford, I spotted again a Silver GT wagon de-baged, same cute girl driving it. I was right next to her and then behind after the light in my silver GT wagon but she didnt seem to get it. Then saw a Charcol 07 / 08 GT / Spec B going towards the black horse pike. I think ive spotted both of them before..

I cant get over how much BETTER it sounds with SRS, I cant listen to anything without it, it really opens up the highs and mid range... I get in my g/fs outback sport and wonder why her speakers sound messed up..then I remember, she doesnt have SRS

I plugged in Molex pins from a PCIe cable for my computer I hacked up. Works good, but I gotta fiddle with it - the left side is quieter than the right, and im sure its to do with my wiring, however, I use the Ipod plug 99% of the time now soo...its far down my to-do list..

So I got my ipod for xmas, connected it to the 07 unit and it is Awesome!! However, when ever I scroll by artist, it blinks fairly slowly Anyone else confirm this is correct? Also, sometimes it doesnt update the song. I think it might be related to gapless playback but im not sure. Its kinda random..

Actully - I used a PCI-e power connector (6 pin) and stole the pins from that, but I would beleive the size and shape of the Pins are both the same...

If its just the wires and pins your worried about, I found out the pins from a computer Molex connector fit really well.. just FYI, i had a bunch laying around so I used those.. worked great!

Anyone notice their Ipod (and only the ipod) sounds louder on one side? Mine seems to be about 2/3 steps to the right.. I need to put the balance at L2/3 for it to level out.. Ipod works so I dont think the connection is loose? Over multiple songs, but some times you could hear (mid song) that the balance changed.. connection on the ipod seems secure.. Anyone else?

yeah, its always "dis-provable" but in my situation, they would have to prove the door lock mod cause the BIU to short causing my dome light issue. Its a 700$ part, but theres not way I could try to bring that to court to disprove it and make them repair it under warrenty. Some battles are just to costly to fight unfortunetly.

JUST spotted a Silver Legacy wagon going north through Runnemede on Clements bridge road I was going to wave (since i have the same car) but i thought it was an outback till they were basiclly past me

Only thing i can think is that the way I did it (washers on one side..none on the other) Cause some kind of internal turbulance - course, it could just be that it was sitting for a 20 minutes while i did it, then went to drive and the IC was much hotter than before / other times Seems fine in 1st, thrashes me back like being launched from an aircraft carrier. 2nd though felt more sluggish - which i noted again today, until I realized that the AC was on cause of the defroster
