Sorry...meant to say the logger only with RR.
-
Wait a minute, wasn't I the one that first tried the vagcom cable a few years ago and reported that it worked? Quicksilver just did all the hard work in making a write up:) It was a PITA to get it to connect but it ultimately worked. RR works flawlessly.
Thanks quicksilver for the write up!

Can we sticky this please!
-
I've been planning to post info from my swap. The swap I did was "zero fabrication" one, all with bolt-on parts...
That would be awesome unclemat!!!!
-
Could someone just make a new post with all the parts that are needed for a 6mt swap into a 05+ LGT and then Sticky it?!?!?!?!
-
Just had my Stg 3+ clutch and LWFW put in by Steven King at SOK. What an awesome guy.
-
Wow, so you are south of the Airport. Check out wrxatlanta.com if you want to hook up with more suby people.

I am still on my stock clutch/FW with a 20G FMIC setup. I ahve the SPEC Stage 3+ Clutch and LWFW sitting in the garage waiting to go on though:)
-
Stage 2+ is better fro daily driveability and probably will last longer as well.
-
I just got off the phone with SPEC. We were discussing the TOB noise fix, so I asked for the #'s on the different stages of clutches.
Here it is a list of Duty Ratings for SPEC Clutches: All #'s are CRANK HP
Stage2 - 400BHP
Stage2+ - 430BHP
Stage3 - 500BHP
Stage3+ - 585BHP
Stage4 - 500BHP
Stage4+ - 585BHP
Stage5 - 665BHP
This info is posted on a 3rd party website somewhere but I don't remember which one. More information about disc materials and facing options for each clutch is available at: www.specclutch.com
Also, here is a link to JSCSPEED.COM where I got mine. This page has good descriptions and prices for each stage: http://www.jscspeed.com/lgt/clutch/spec.htm
Hope this helps everyone with their decision making.
That was the info I was looking for. I guess I will be going with stage 3:(
Thanks for the info.
-
Well the question I asked is 100% SPEC clutch related. Trying to figure out what stage will hold what amount of power. Why would that not be useful info for others?
-
Got the Stage II+ and Spec LWFW too,..
What turbo are you running and how much hp/tq are you putting down?
-
Yup, welcome to the wonderful world of clutch chatter:)
aba - which stage clutch did you get?
-
Tks for the write up!
Did you use the the TOB and Pilot bearings supplied by Spec or did you buy the Subaru bearings?

ANyone know the correct part number for the turbo oil inlet banjo bolt?
-
Can someone give me the correct part number for the Turbo Oil Feed Banjo Bolt?
The part number below is not correct. I purchased it and it does not look anything like the one in the TSB on thel7.com. Also, there is no filter on the inside like it states.
15194AA110 - Banjo Bolt for the turbo (Called a union screw by SOA)

I never go inside the perimeter, but if you go to the hiram powder springs smyrna area you'll probablly see me. I'd be interested to know more about your stage 2, do you get warranty service done around here? if so who does it and do they give you flack? I need to head to SoG to get my oil changed (I have all my work done by my favorite dealer while my cars are under warranty)
I spotted a very clean dark blue 04- legacy on east-west a few days ago, was wondering if that was anyone here.
PM if you have questions regarding my Stage 2 setup. It is your basic Turbo Back exhaust, Up Pipe, K&N Typhoon, and APv2 with a TDC Custom Map. I haven't needed any warranty work yet but took my car to SOG for a sunroof rattle last week and they didnt give me any flack about the mods to warranty fixing the rattle. Will probably go back in a few weeks to let them fix the car. The only problem is that I will most likely have my Stage 3+ setup on there by then:lol:

Atlanta off of Henderson Mill Road/Briarcliff Road. Stage 2+ but have Zilla 20G and supporting mods being installed in a week. Only see a handfull of LGT in the area. Most are soccer moms that dont know what they have. My other babies are various road and Mtn bikes.

Can anyone host the original .rar file for the 2005 Vacation Pics?
The links in this thread do not work.

I am running 420 whp and 410 wtq on my stock tranny and it is still alive:) Just starting to get worried about it though.
Will the 06+ WRX Limited R160 Rear Diff with LSD work with any of these swaps?
