I should know mid next week which package I'm getting as they haven't bought the donor car yet

I have until about 10am tomorrow to make a decision if I want to buy a 6MT SPEC 3+ clutch since SPEC will be going on vacation first week in July and isn't accepting orders (from vendors too) after tomorrow. Pretty sure this is what I'm going to get as I've been happy with my 3+ for the LGT for about 25,000 miles thus far

I'll be talking with my local shop tomorrow to see if they have a 2.5i donor driveshaft for me. I heard that a 4EAT driveshaft will work as well, though I'm not sure from what years. I found one for $50, just need to verify what years work here.

I know I'll need to get stubs, circlips and seals as well as fluid and hopefully that will cover nearly everything  besides a dccd controller

will keep you all informed of my progress as well, probably wont go in until july unless i get too eager

  4. vaccaroja is a joke says 40/hr which mean 4/hr dude people who brag money dont have money... anyway

I went to napierville last night.. Not bad good turnout there is a drift track now there aswell

:whore: on the first part, and whhaaaaaaat on the second part, i cannot imagine that at that place, tho i heard it got a pave job too...niiiice

  5. My car (white one) has Perrin equal length headers, Cobb catless DP, Perrin Mid and Y pipes, Magnaflow mufflers w/ stock LGT exhaust tips welded on.

Not sure what Groff's car has exactly, but he's got unequal length headers.

borla unequal length headers swaintech coated and wrapped, custom dp with ewg wastegate plumbed back in, and megan racing exhaust. headers now make it sound raspy and shiity, i don't like, but o well, too late now :spin:

i was going to go to napierville last tuesday, but alas there was a hurricane. i may be going up this week sometime, i'm not sure i can contain myself anymore, i need to get to the track, just need to get the LC/FFS in place first :icon_evil

  6. vaccaroja, you need to stuff it, you can't talk smack about a car if your parts are "sitting in your room" or you're gonna be ordering them or about a job you dont have yet, to pay for the parts you dont have

Groff, yeah I've seen plenty of good looking girls driving around in LGT's, hell this morning I almost did a full 180 in my seat checking out a girl driving one in Vergennes on my way into work. We have to figure out a game plan

I figured my car had a big enough dick the ladies would flock but apparently not in this barren land

  7. i'll be going to napierville shortly, was going to go last night, the severe tstorms killed that though

i didnt say anything about my setup or brag about how much i make, just said i didnt like the kid and that i'm pretty well versed in the dyno and how my car works since i've done all the work on it myself. don't matter what you got in your garage, or under your bed in your room, matters whats in your car so put your $40/hr mouth where your real money is :hide: and get ur stuff together before you talk smack, cuz a turboback, intake and co2 sprayer aint gonna cut it kid.

nuff said. back on topic, saw a cutie in a blue lgt today in s. burlington, us vt'ers need to get some of these ladies out to the meets ;) and not the taken ones mmk guys, i'm tired of seeing your gfs :p

  8. ya you, you come on like 6, 7 months ago and talk all this big game yet you still have a stock car (wouldn't be a problem cept you flap your gums). don't talk like you know all this stuff until you got something to prove for it. i've rebuilt my car from the ground up and did the labor and fabrication myself yet i'm not rubbing that in people's faces, that is the kind of difference between you and i.

i could care less that you know different dyno's read differently. between my car and my roommates, not to mention the sports car club i founded i've been to at least 6 different dynos in new england/new york, i think i understand the concept pretty well of how a dyno works. my car alone probably has more than 100 dyno pulls on it, on 5 separate occasions, 4 of those sessions on the same dyno, different seasons of the year, with different weather each time, so i understand the individual factor the weather has as well.

you have no clue about my car but yet you chime in. its not that you're "right" about different dynos reading differently, or the weather having an impact, everybody but vimy knows that . that is all.

  9. who is mike and where is his dyno and how much does he charge, PM please!!?!?!?!?

somewhere in mass, i forget. mike formerly from TDC, and maybe $350 now? He's just a tuner and works outta a shop, or does road tunes or w/e.

how did your clutch blow up?

  10. allows the wastegate and boost control solenoid to react more quickly to each other. therefore the car is a lot smoother now. if the solenoid makes wastegate adjustments it doesn't take as long for the wastegate to react because there is less vacuum line to fill so the bcs can then react to its own decisions kinda thing :spin:

    saw LMVT's car getting some hmm...touch up work...tonight :p

i had to weld my maf plate onto my IC tube since it blew off on the way to work this morning, that was interesting

  11. Friday, saw Groff about 4:00 on RTE 7 in front of the Ferrisburg Deli. I was in the company truck, gave a wave. Oh and btw I think its a little obvious that you have an FMIC  Where'd the bumper go?

lol, took it off to play around w/ the aquamist some and finish installing the dual pump setup, should be back on later tonight

spent an exhausting day with richard from aquamist on the phone for a while (best customer service hands down) trouble shooting why the aquamist wasn't spraying (couple wires slightly melted together under some shrink tubing :spin:) and then finally installing my swaintech coated, wrapped borla header...which didn't fit of course.

at any rate i'll be terrorizing some of your masser's soon enough, prob within a month, since i'll be getting my tune for the meth again...finally. can't wait to get back on the juice, car is just so boring other wise :p
