perhaps one of the easiest installs there is out there. I love mine (mostly because I do a lot of driving in the dark, and because I have a pet peeve about bad headlights and crappy windshield wipers )
-
well i guess you have not been pulled over by me then..
thats cuz you arent a cop yet did u finish that this summer?

2 spots today. i was playing around with an ABP LGT on industrial ave in williston heading towards 2A...i was in my buddies red A6, anyone on here?
second spot was earlier in the morning, saw a SWP sedan on far end of north ave, some mesh grill on it, pushing a saturn with flames into a driveway

Its rebuilt, has no airbags, has been in a few off road incidents, etc.
uh, but it has brembo's!
Doh! I'd certainly be interested to hear what they say about the cause of failure. Think it may have been related to your lower than expected output with it?um, don't know. there were a couple things holding that back though. URD sent the wrong size meth nozzle 3 times, and bullseye sent the incorrect flange size for the turbo, so it only has a 2.5" butthole instead of 2.75" which poses an immediate restriction. I've got the new flange and nozzle now and will hopefully be rebuilding the downpipe on monday night, but I gotta figure out some other issues.
anyway, back to the spotting, has anybody seen/know the cute blonde in the GRP sedan?
-
little issue being about an hour before i went to go to the track last thursday i blew the new turbo. i snapped the shaft connecting the wheels in half. bullseye has never seen that happen before so they'll send it back to borg warner for more failure analysis. got it back yesterday, installed for a while last night, having other issues now.

falso!!
i havent had mine out of the garage since last thursday, had a lil...uh...issue...

I think she is associated with Steve, shes always around Vergennes, unless I am thinking of another LGT. BTW if anyone ever sees steve's '06 spec B up for sale, dont pick it up
apparently charlie's talking about a different someone.
if anybody ever sees a 400whp silver lgt up for sale don't pick it either

if it was shelburne rd past shelburne then it was this chick i see driving back and forth to my work just about every day. her car has been in for service at auto creek quite a bit, she bent a rim good earlier this year. middle aged. smoker. ftl.

Saw you this morning Groff on my way in around 8:30 right before you turned after the OC bridge in Vergennes, I was driving our White GMC Truck since I have some large exterior pieces for the GT to pick up in Burlington tonight
nice
Isnt this the spotted thread? WTFdismount the high horse chief

the cost of a utec, install, and tune. research.
you can get launch control for your stock ecu, but it doesn't function the same (and on big turbos, doesn't build nearly the same boost)
-
has a little more to do with the other mods than the exhaust combos.
UP is ultimate racing rotated mount
bullseye S362 turbo
custom catless dp
megan racing "cat-back"
UTEC launch control is what's causing the flash as I'm dumping fuel to spool the turbo and cutting ignition so the combustion is happening on its way out of the chamber pretty much, hence the fire.
get your cars to have balls and you can have fire too
I have the turbo here for it! - http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95118

pending my buddies flight into town thursday and the weather I'll be hitting up the track hopefully at night before our 11 hour trip to ocean city, md friday woohoo

eatcha heart out

nice, i needed the utec for speed density. i would have sold you my old turbo if you wanted it!
-
^^ thats steve the owner of auto creek
Damn, what turbo is that? Looks like something for a turbo diesel truck.Nice numbers for that Dyno...waiting for #'s from the track.
its a bullseye S362. i'm happy with the turbo, not with the numbers though. when we were talking with bullseye, we told them we wanted a turbo that would do 450 on a mustang, fell a lil short i'd say. might have had something to do with the wrong size meth nozzle that URD sent me (twice actually, I'm still waiting for the correct one), or the incorrect turbine flange that bullseye sent (2.5" outlet is a nice restriction right off turbo!).
anyway, possibly going to the track on thursday, once i hook up the UTEC launch control. can't run the open source LC anymore, builds boost too fast and kicks over the to the UTECs speed density and doesn't hold rpms anymore.
at any rate, the thing sounds like a turbo diesel truck's turbo cuz it whistles all the time, its sweetness.

installed for now
I'll edit when I pull the dyno graph of the flash drive. only 390/360 on ESP's mustang. so better than I did w/ the 3082, but the powerband is completely different. going to the track next weekend hopefully which will prove that "low" dyno numbers don't mean anything
may go bigger, though I'm not sure we'll physically be able to make it fit, this is a lil tight as it is.

He's actually got Sivler wheels with blue rotora front calipers. But yeah, its a sweet ride, a little faster then my car...but not for long.
faster than the avo420...what does it have?

welcome^

probably not me then. coocoo prob spotted LMVT, i spotted him over the weekend too, drove by each other so quickly barely realized it

Sorry for the late response. I was thinking more that the STi axles may be easier to find and bigger than the Spec-B ones. Oh well.
Hey Groff, when you installed the R180, what else did you have to change to get it to bolt up (ie the rear diff support correct?)?
nope, only thing i had to change were the axles and the driveshaft flange on the R180. I swapped it over to the R160 one so the driveshaft holes would line right up.

you're minutes away from Mike of Tuning Alliance pretty much, just have him road tune your setup open source and it won't cost that much, plus you know it'll be good and better than what you're running now, thats my suggestion.
