  1. Wow, a pissing contest. Here's my experience: I paid 4 hours labor in May 2012 to have all of these voltages tested: @ battery, @ alternator, @ fpcm from battery, from fpcm to pump. I had no voltage loss across the board and my fpcm was not the reason for fuel pressure loss at WOT. Initial thought was that my walbro 255 did not survive the switch to e85 after 5 months. Switched to a DW300 and still had issues with losing fuel pressure at WOT and car running lean. After 4 hours of testing it was determined that I had issues with o-rings in the fuel pump basket. Further testing was done to determine what sealed best and showed zero loss of fuel pressure at WOT with a CNG o-ring. Single o-ring set-up for me. All of my testing was done at Metric Motors, Utah and I replaced a Walbro 255 for no good reason other than I love that the DW is silent on power up rather than that stupid noisy Walbro! Good luck figuring out your IDC's and fueling needs at WOT. Mine was much more basic than re-wiring the system as proposed here.
  2. I assume you are talking about Romraider Logger? What specific steps do I take so that my LC1 will talk to Logger? I need to know how to set up the log. I have the tactrix cable. In the logs my tuner has me run the afr/s stay blank because I haven't known how to connect my LC1 to my computer at the same time my tactrix is connected. Yes I have the serial to usb adapter in place to use and multiple usb ports available on my laptop. Please excuse my computer ignorance. I am very good at what I do for a living, computers are not part of that process
  3. please detail, step by step, what you want me to do with my laptop. Yes, I've purchased the serial to usb adapter. Once my laptop is connected, please detail what you want me to test or do. Please tell me it is not another calibration using the LM programmer software. If you've got help so i can use my gtboostgauge display accurately, I'd love the help!
  4. let me speak slowly............. I've used the programming software probably 90 times to calibrate the LC1. Nothing changes. Innovate tech support tells me to do ANOTHER free air calibration of the 02 sensor. So, I pull the heatshield and pull the o2 sensor out of the dp and start calibration from scratch. I said, i know my o2 sensor is calibrated, has been out of the dp a total of 4 times to re-do the free air calibration. Does that make sense to you? Then, I've tapped in to the LC1 with my laptop a gazillion times to calibrate so my readout is proper. Nothing changes. Mechanic that did the install says to pull the unit and ask Innovate for a RMA.
  5. I don't know what you mean by logging through the serial cable. In my case the tuner connected my o2 sensor to his innovate equip, bypassing the rest of mine and Afr's are solid. So I know my tune is good ans my o2 sensor is calibrated and good. The rest of mine doesn t work properly and I don't know if it is the LC1 le the dig display that are the issue. I've used the innovate programming software probably 90 times, both the current version and I even downloaded a prior version to no avail.
  6. My Innovate WBo2 is impossible to program also! My af/r always reads 10.8 in warm up mode on cold starts then settles to a 10.1-10.3 ratio, no matter what I do. I've had the wiring double checked and been through umpteen sensor calibration techniques. Innovate is not helpful. I don't know whether it is an Innovate issue or a GTboostgauge issue. Tuner plugs in to the car with his Innovate stuff plugged in to my sensor in the DP and all reads well during the tuning process. I know my sensor is good, the rest I don't know. I love how the gauge looks, boost and voltage readings are great, af/r is not good.
  7. See if you can plug in a fuel pressure gauge to check and see if you are losing fuel pressure under WOT. It indicated a fuel delivery problem for me and was a simple split oring inside the basket.
  8. How long does it really take him to ship these things? Seriously
  9. Anybody running an Innovate LC-1 AF/r gauge know how to finalize programming? Once you hit program, what is the next step? How do I go about disconnecting the computer from the LC1 port, in what steps so my programming will actually save? While my laptop is connected to the gtboostgauge the afr readout is accurate and shows correct programming. Once I power down the car and disconnect the laptop and connect the Lc1 to the display it reverts back to un programmed afr readouts. help!
  10. once you hit program are you done? Or do I have to wait for a prompt that programming is done? I'm using a usb to serial adapter and the LMconfig329 file from the LW3 Cd that came in the box.
  11. I can't get the programmer to save my set-up after I hit program (using the LMconfig program). The AFR reads correct on the gauge while my laptop is still connected. If I key off ignig, unplug my laptop and plug the LC-1 back into the aux port, gauge reverts back to 10.1AFR and doesn't save my programming!!!!! Other than hitting program button and waiting, is there a prompt for when programming is complete that I am missing??? Are you guys using the LM config menu to program the LC-1 or the LMprogrammer software from this guys site?
  12. bad front O2 sensor and split Oring on the fuel pump. My voltage from FPCM to fuel pump didn't have any voltage loss whatsoever. Re-tune going on now on a Dynapack dyno after 28+hours of diagnosis time.
  13. Help needed now. AF/r's of 15/1 to 19/1 and lucky the motor hasn't blown. What came of this? Re-wire overide or conversion to STi FPCM only, or both??? I am confused. DW300 fp 2 months old after I was told that my Walbro255 had died after only 3 months running e85. 850 side feeds, BNR hta68 running on E85 at approx 70%duty cycle. It goes massively lean above 4500rpm's after only 2 months on this tune and DW pump set-up. Help.
  14. Check your tranny fluid to make sure it is truly topped off. It took 9 top-offs the last time my pan was off the car. It kept burping and burping and burping and taking more and more fluid. Each time shifts got better. Just did a drain fill on my tranny last week after 7K miles on my VB mod before my most important track day of the season. Car shifts even better
  15. http://youtu.be/2SCDuoU2Tig I love my HexMods VB! My center diff bushings worked very well at the track today with 2 all-wheel burnouts on the 2 90* hairpin-corners and diffs working very hard as I washed out the tires in a couple of turns. Fun stuff!
  16. I have noticed with my HexMods VB that if I use the steering wheel buttons vs using the stick to shift there is a difference. Using the stick, I get an instant shift from 2-3 that the car then tries to rev match or catch up of sorts if I'm at partial throttle. WOT all shifts are super-fast! Running 23psi on Ethanol! I love my HexMods VB
  17. Just slightly over the typical needle position. Alot of 5>4thgear passing in 2 lane highway traffic. Thought maybe I had a fuel vapor lock as I was close to being out of gas, but if ATF overheat can cause fuel cut????? I was 30 miles left to go in the tank of gas, 6 miles from the highway exit for fuel.
  18. I too had the tranny overheat and car hit fuel cut off and shut the car down. Roadtrip from CA to UT, 4 bikes on the roof rack, 4 people in the car, luggage for 10 days and had just passed through Death Valley, CA at 120f 1 hour prior. Car shut down and needed 45minutes to cool down before it would start again. Didn' help that I was pushing the car to 120mph frequently as well. (was StgII @ 57K miles when ATF temp light came on and car shut down).
  19. get that car up and running. I want to see how much power this tranny with VB mod can handle! Bump for a great VB mod!
  20. My OEM 5EAT hated the elimination of my recirc valve when I switched to an hks BOV. Lasted one week before I reverted back to OEM recirc. BOV was the beginning of all the problems with my tranny. And, I only use manual mode now with my 3rd 5EAT and breaking in my hta68.
  21. ^^ how many miles have you run the VB? Mine shifted extremely harsh for approx 80 miles. Then again, mine shifts harshly today as I'm breaking in a BNR hta68. And that is while only running the turbo on the wastegate only (upgraded BNR wastegate). Curious to see how it learns in the next 2 days before the pump gas tune on Tuesday.
