Saw what I thought was a silver B-Spec on the NJTPKE this morning...we saw eachother, but not sure if he's a member.
I say I think it's a B-Spec, but it was debadged except for an emblem with a funky looking "i".

I think the problem I have is more that I drive a 5EAT. It's not like I can rev her up on the take off and keep the revs high easily. With the auto, it literally sounds like I'm sputtering away until I get up to acceptable rpms. At least you guys can keep the revs up and it will always sound great.
So maybe you just list this mod with a 5EAT disclaimer...
-
I guess it's subjective. It just sounds like a 6 cyl running on only four.

Time to throw a new twist to the thread...The official DeHogged list!!
I Un-Hogged or De-Hogged her today. It just sounds wrong at low rpm's. Don't take it personally Hogger, I think any after market exhaust for thousands times the price will do the same thing. Boxsters sound like they're missing at low speed and should be kept quiet until WOT and 3K minimum. Look at it this way, if everyone who posted when they did the mod posts when they undo it, this will be the biggest thread in the history of .com!!!

More importantly,
You're coming up on 20,000 views!!!
-
Wait a minute...If you do that, you need to throw in my new HDG series as well!
And Hogs...GO TO THE POLL!
Come on...this is already post #569. Everybody loves the Hogs-zaust!

what do you mean??? I see no double post??
Ok, I actually went in and editted it, and for some reason it DP'd.
Wait...did I say DP?

If you want to do the butt dyno right, turn your stereo way up during acceleration. That will get rid of the loud exhaust screwing with your head, and give you a better idea of what's really going on.got around to doing this yesterday and damn, it sounds so good. It feels like the car got faster but i know its just the noise adding to my imagination. (stock set up with GFB BOV) I think this will really make me decide if i want an exhaust on my car or not.Head Banging optional, but it tends to throw off the butt dyno

Finally I'm in Hog heaven! I installed my new Cusco sways yesterday. The whole time I was working on the rear sway, I kept hearing this strange noise?!?! It sounded like a pig snorting coming from my cans. I got up close to the left can and listen closely :
It was saying Hog me baby, Hog me baby! So I pulled the bolts and gaskets and installed the Hog-zawst stage I.V system in HTG. (Hot dipped Galvanized). While it was a very expensive upgrade, the benefits are there. It sounds pretty mean at higher rpms, but I'm torn about the sound in the lower RPM's. It kinda sounds like my old VW beetle...

Older guy...hahaha like me...
It had what appeared to be Spec B rims, but the damn badges threw me off. And he drove kinda funny...on it, then slow...it was weird. Oh yeah, and he had a funky hat on...come on man, you know who you are!!!
Even his license plate had an odd number...it was Jersey, but the number format looked like a dealer plate...although it wasn't.
I know I know...make up your mind?!?!?!?
