  1. Oh yeah....with the summers on: http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m194/star91281/2012-04-06_19-17-55_45.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m194/star91281/2012-04-06_19-17-38_366.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m194/star91281/2012-04-06_19-17-13_627.jpg
  2. I must have it then. the sound is unbeatable......
  3. my driving was approx. 85/15 hwy/city. google "hypermiling"....you'll see why.
  4. If noone was aware, when I had my phenolic intake spacers the temp difference was drastic. I measured every runner, from center of intake to head mating surface with my pyrometer. the temp change was 30 degrees before to after. Make sure you are aware though that if going with 8mm spacers, you will need to tweak the EGR tube. I wasn't keeping track of gas mileage after every mod, but with panel filter, turbo manifold, resonator delete, OBX mufflers, lowering springs and even rolling on 245/35R18 tires I managed to squeak out 506 miles from one tank of gas.
  5. same issue here. valves failing on wrx/foresters. no legacies, or air pumps to date.
  6. I disagree with the air pump reason. I have been taught that since subaru eliminated the cat in the uppipe to keep them from lodging in the turbo, they needed a way to "clean" up cold start emissions, hence the fresh air added to the exhaust via air pump for the short time after cold start up.
  7. If it was NH, I would say yes. I would think if all your monitors are ready, and no CEL is present you should be ok. I would talk to a CA state inspector.....
  8. nice to see mine first in the vid, and later on in black.
  9. They are single layer metal, but you're right about reuse. There shouldn't be an issue.
  10. So the disassembly began today, and I "modded" the right air valve, and this is where she will rest: http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m194/star91281/2011-09-13_16-29-01_179.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m194/star91281/2011-09-13_16-29-07_889.jpg Now there is enough room for my block tap-in to clear for oil supply to the new turbo, and the atmosperic pressure sensor is still there.
  11. my interest is intact seeing as I had to sell my recently purchased JDM rear bumper.
  12. Drew: can you tell me what lip and grill? Call me lazy, but my search button seems to be broken.
  13. I hate claying my car, but it looks so good. nice job!
  14. I'll be using ECUflash to remove my air pump codes. Actually I already pulled my map and disabled them. will reflash when I remove it. You can use Romraider ECU editor to disable them too.
