  1. I think the only one making Struts is Myles (racecomp). In the meantime i recommend the Swift springs while you are waiting :)

Just got an update from Swift. The first batch is on the ocean from Japan and will be here shortly. There's only 10 sets made for this 1st batch and I will either make new thread or update the current one when I get more info about how to acquire them.

  2. I can verify that the TOYOTA ELECTRONIC 4 LED FLASHER BLINKER TURN SIGNAL FIX: http://www.v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning...-p4481146.html works for the 5th gen legacy and makes all four turn signals blink at the correct speed AND retain all functionality (e.g. all the turn signals flash when the doors are locked/unlocked with the key fob). I'm using one with LED turn signal bulbs now.

plz post installation pictures/instructions, thank you!

  3. funny part is there was this driveway i used to bottom out the front end in on the stock suspension. with the RCEs this doesnt happen.

Same here, I bottomed out hard twice at this spot right after exiting the fwy near my place on the OEM springs. I purposely drove over it after getting Swifts and it was smooth. I braced for it right before and my face was like :icon_neut, then afterwards, it was :).

  4. No rubbing at all... but im getting rear camber bushings to get zero negative camber out back... i have -2 degrees right now lol.

Ill tell you what happens after that.

yeah let me know cuz I might get the camber bushings before I get wheels.

The swifts and the tein springs look pretty comparable the front looks loss on the teins but the back looks lower on the swifts imo good comparison pictures blklgt05

If you look closely, there's a 2 finger wheel gap in the front & rear for the Swift. Swift's drop is f1.3"/r1.15" and Swift does not sag due to material. On the Swift, the rear wheel gaps are just a tiny bit more than the front, but the overall drop of the car is perfectly even.

The Teins do drops a lot more than Swift though if that's what you're going for. Tein s-tech drops f1.8"/r1.6" +regular break-in sag.

Quick side comparisons of what we have so far...

@DeltaSniper, have you experienced any rubbing issues so far? I'm thinking about the 19x8.5+45 w/ 245/40/19 ranged spec. Thx!!

  6. Rommel is still making grilles to order. I just ordered mine. Don't forget the paint code. And you will need to order/install the emblem yourself.

Save you some time, this is the correct badge. I decide to buy it and keep the original emblem on the grille so it will be easier to sell later on. You will need to add more 3M HD mounting tape + silicone to mount it to the grille. Btw, RBS's grille will need to be modified to fit properly, you'll see. I also recommend you lower the hood rubber stops down all the way and add a long piece of insulating foam (from home depot) between the grille and the bumper.

  7. Ok I figured I would just start a new thread for this instead of having in parts of different threads.

I bought the new Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust for a 2010 Legacy GT and installed it on my 2.5i. (Note I was only able to do this because my car had the exhaust hangers on the passenger side already. Not all 2.5i models have them.) The part # is 16377.

siick man! how much was it and where did you get it from? is it a 3" cbe??

  8. JDM have a folding lid over the cup holders that can nicely conceal them when not in use. (see centre pic). Not sure why US doesn't - are they worried about lawsuits if people try to put hot coffee in there and the lid is closed?

  9. blklgt05 got his grill from RBS (Rommel) Fitment isn't that good. Saw his car in person.

It fits okay after you stuff some foam between the bumper and the grille + re-drilling the holes. Mike (msprank) did it for me and it sits much better now. This is the only option other than grilletech which charge you about the same, but you have to use your oem grille, saw the wings off yourself, install the mesh, and paint it yourself. So, RBS grille is actually a much cheaper option. I don't know if he still have any in stock, based on what he tells me, he's been busy with his new career and doesn't seem to be interested in making any more of them.
