I think that's what we had to do but again I've yet to see the finished product for myself.
I'm confused, were you trying to make the EXO X version fit or are you trying to make the 05-09 LGT / 08 WRX version fit? Sounds like you have a different setup.
-
Synapse's design is very different, you should get an improved response with Synapse compared to standard DVs. Only issue would be fitment. I'll probably have both Synapse and Turbosmart's DV when I go see Bryan. If Synapse require too much fab, I'd just sell it because I plan on getting protuned the same day.
-
I'm running RacerX charge pipe with Synapse BPV. We had to modify/fabricate the flange to connect charge pipe with bpv (I think the major issue was fitment without hitting the brake lines)
I'm planning to go to Bryan (Racer-X) to pickup the TMIC/charge pipe and probably just have him install everything, do you remember exactly what modification you did to the flange?
-
Didn't blklgt05 have Synapse try to fit one of their valves on his car and they couldn't get it to run right?
I'm looking into BPV lately and digged up this thread. Yeah Synapse couldn't get it to fit right. I might be doing the Racer-X TMIC with chargepipe soon and I'm getting the 08 wrx adapter to try and make it work. If it doesn't fit, I'll just use the turbosmart one.

Where the hell have you been gary!?!?!Lost in St Louis.
I've been busy moving to Orange county from San Diego. Currently on a biz trip in St Louis. I've been doing a bunch of lighting mods lately, will have retrofit done on Friday. I'll probably make a thread about them after. How are you doing? Coming to Subiefest again this year?

There's like a million veterans at my hotel in St. Louis, it's not veterans day...

Just bought a pair 3000K hid bulbs for my foglights, dunno if I'll get pulled over for this...

Gonna do this tonight, mine broke for the 4th time yesterday. Looks like dealership's 3 previous warranty fixes did nothing.

So i replied this email with..."I'm having my credit card company look into this transaction. It's been almost 8 weeks... "
AND I finally got a tracking number!!!
Yeah should have ordered from Forman Performance, they told me they could get a better price somehow. $1190 is what import image gave me too. Btw, let me know how it rides, I'm starting to like my soft ride and not sure about coilovers anymore...
-
Technically it should help if you have a really stiff suspension and you track your car hardcore, but other than that its not exactly the best bang for the buck type of mod. I do have strut bars on my mod list, but its right at the bottom.

I'm not dead set on buying it, my butt dyno told me that it helped a bit on my 4th gen
I had the ebay one on my 4gen, didn't do anything but looks nice!
-
blklgt05, can you elaborate on "fall apart"?
All 4 corners started making noises, one of the 4 was especially loud and clunks, 2 units started to leak...etc. Just research 4gen for these common issues on the MRs, there's a ton of threads about it and complaints resulting in the member that was selling it to leave the LGT.com forum completely. Personally I wouldn't spend a dime on something that's just gonna cause headache later, I rather save up and get something that will last.
-
I was one of the victims of megan racing's coilovers on my 4gen, lasted about 7-8 months which was pretty damn good. Then everything started to fall apart...
-
Had mine properly painted for $275.

I think the bigger lip looks better on darker cars and the smaller lip looks better on light color cars especially if the lip is left unpainted.
I think it will look great painted on any color Legacys, I'd say just take a chance and go with the big one. Polyurethane for that price, I'd jump all over it assuming there's any left. They only made 10 pieces total I believe.

Took this with my phone last night, haven't had time to send it in for paint yet. IMO, the s204 lip is just too small, if you like that style I'd recommend the actual JDM s204. I think this lip will look even better after its painted. It flows nicely with the side skirts. Now we'll just need Hanger to get that rear diffuser made.
