  1. It was a little different for me becasue I purchased the Konis and Epics from Fred Bean Parts so I could pay with Subaru Bucks. I had FBP ship the parts to Mike. Mike's charges are $150 labor, $150 for core charge and $100 for S/H. If you get the parts from him I think he was charging $850.00. He refunds the core charge when he receives your cores. It cost me around $55 to ship from PA to CA via the UPS store. Hope this helps. 2. I just upgraded to the Koni-Epic combo. My OEM struts-springs had 86K on them and where ready to be replaced anyway. Putting New springs on the stock stuts of that age is a waste of money. As it's been said, they wear out faster and then you're paying for labor all over again. I just took a ~600 mile round trip from PA to VA yesterday and the Koni-Epics were awesome. The feel was very good even over the very rough roads of PA. Just a very firm, but compliant and comfortable ride. The Konis rebounded beautifully and the handling was incredible. I am so glad I upgraded. It feels like a different car with BMW-like handling. Oh, I have the Konis set halfway between full soft and full firm. Props to M sprank for his Koni-Epic assembly services. I purchased the bolt-on solution from him. Highly recommend.
  3. I have the Epics mounted on Konis (thanks to m sprank). Simply love them. And the drop isn't so severe that I can still get up my Rino-Ramps to change my oil. Dan from FBPs told me the Epics were identical to the Eibachs, just rebadged.
  4. I just had Koni's w/Epic springs installed yesterday (Thurs.) and the drop after driving 20 miles was the same as when I picked it up, about two fingers width. It looks awesome.
  5. Msprank is working on my setup this weekend. I'm having a local speed shop install them and disassemble the OEM suspension to send back for the core charge refund. I'll post my experience, but I believe it will be seamless. Basically, an out-of-the-box bolt-on solution.
  6. Check out this thread. Epics mounted on Konis ready to be mounted in the car. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/gi-bolt-koni-set-ups-lgt-154996.html

  8. That is correct. I talked to Jeremy the other day and he confirmed it. It is a limited run, so if you want them call Jeremy ASAP. I don't know how many he has left.
  9. Awesome job! Looks great. Hopefully I can see it in person at one of the Lehigh Valley meets.
  10. Hey Folks, Tire Rack is having a sale on Eibachs. See below Holiday Rebate Offer Offer valid on any new Eibach Pro-Kit Spring Set or Sportline Spring Set purchased from in-stock inventory between November 16, 2009 and December 31, 2009. Read all offer details here.
  11. Hey Folks, it seems TireRack has the Eibachs again. http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/Susptabl.jsp?autoMake=Subaru&autoModel=Legacy+Sedan+2.5+GT&autoYear=2006&autoModClar=Limited&brand=Eibach
  12. RIPJeep2002, I'm really interested in how this turns out. Please let me know where you got them installed and how smoothly it went. I'm right down the road from you in Dunmore. I moved back last year after living in VA for awhile, so I don't really know who's reliable and does good work around here. Thanks.
  13. Thanks, I have to measure how far the front overhang is from the ramps when the tires touch the ramp. Just eyeballing it, as I remember, it's looks like 1.5" to 2", but I'll measure ot be sure. For now I'll just use the original OEM struts. Thanks again.
  14. ^^^Oh, I don;t have a front lip and use OEM sways.
  15. This is great information. Thanks, Bosco for your input on this. The roads are really bad here in NE PA. I've been reluctant to put lowering springs on my '06 LGT because of the terrible roads here in NE PA, but Bosco's input on the Eibachs gave be new hope. I have 2 questions: 1. I use Rino Ramps to change my oil. Will I still be able to clear the ramp with a 1" drop in the front? 2. I have over 66K on the OEM struts. Should I replace them at the same time as the springs? If so, which ones do you suggest? I still need as close to OEM ride as possible (my lower back couldn't take the jolting of performace struts). Also, the OEMs still feel pretty solid though. Thanks for yuor suggestions.
