  1. hmm, I had just planned on picking up a reman one at autozone, but maybe this is better since I won't have to bring anything back...
  2. 05 ABP sedan with black (matte?) wheels near Hynes Auto Body in Chestnut Hill today. It was parked though, so I didn't get to get spotted back. Oh well.
  3. kinda surprised there aren't more spottings in and around Boston.
  4. There have been others on here, but here's one: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/danhurwitz/Events/Tokyo%20Auto%20Salon%202007/Legacy/01-16127Large.jpg
  5. Oh, I guess I must have mis-remembered. I guess DGM wasn't spec.b-only in 07. my b
  6. SWP 06-07 sedan on Independence Drive in w.rox, parked on southbound side around noon today
  7. I'm trying to remember exactly where I saw the two... I parked immediately in front of the 06-07 on Van Ness, and I think I saw the 05 on Kilmarnock. I think.
  8. Oh yeah, and I also saw two LGT sedans around Fenway tonight. Both were BSM, one an 05 (or with 05 headlights, at least), and one 06 or 07.
  9. No no I know. But DGM came out in 07, right? And for that model year wasn't it Spec.B only? If both of those statements are correct, a DGM non-Spec.B would have had to be 08-09.
  10. DGM 08-09 LGT sedan (I think? I can't remember, but since it wasn't a spec.B, wouldn't it have had to be 08-09?) parked in a driveway in Andover, MA
  11. not sure, he never stayed in one place long enough for me to see. also, the road is pretty narrow there for the general going speed, so I couldn't really look anyway
  12. silver second gen with yellow fogs and ugly silverstar headlights (both of which were on despite the bright, sunny morning that made the driver need sunglasses). about 11 this morning 128 southbound, a little north of the liberty tree mall YOU DRIVE LIKE A DOUCHEBAG. there is absolutely no reason at all... 1) to tailgate and then 2) to try to pass me on the right 3) on a crowded two-lane highway 4) on thanksgiving day 5) when the speed limit is 55, and the going rate of traffic is about 70. 6) oh yeah, and learn to signal. you bring shame to the legacy name. I'm thankful that one of these days you're gonna get yours in a big way.
  13. drrrr...I'm up in Gloucester and never see anybody!
  14. Where are you guys located? I'm also in Boston and would like to know - I always prefer to buy locally if possible.
  15. yesterday afternoon - black (or possibly DGM...lots of road salt out there) 08-09 on I-93 near 101 with aftermarket exhaust and I think a blitzen grille. waved, trailed. sorry I didn't want to play - don't need tickets! haha
  16. I especially wonder how the vinyl would hold up on rims in winter -- they take such a beating. I do know that the design of the 5-spoke oem's does allow for significant snow/ice buildup on the inside of the wheels, which can be really annoying once you get going (because the weight being off makes things shake). I wonder if the vinyl would help reduce buildup...potentially could be useful to wrap just the inside and not worry about doing the spokes. ...maybe?
  17. Didn't you say you wanted a relatively quiet system? I thought the Perrins were pretty loud, no? I could be wrong...
  18. Well, I like mine quite a lot. It's quiet when I want it to be quiet, and it's loud when I want it to be loud. It never pops, sounds smooth, and has a nice low timbre. In terms of appearance, it's actually a little showy for my tastes, but I let the cans stay dirty, and generally the tips too, as long as they're not unsightly. I would rather the tips be a little bit smaller and rolled, but hey, no way am I changing them now. The sound is exactly what I want. As far as the N1s...well, for starters, I think they look ridiculous. Those tips remind me of pierced ears with huge-gauge things in them. Or a saggy ass, whatever you prefer. Maybe you like them, but they're not to my taste. I just feel like the legacy is more of a darkhorse/sleeper vehicle than your average modified wrx and a way to have just as much go with a lot less show (i.e. unwanted attention). I've never heard them, so I can't state any sort of legitimate opinion on how good or bad they sound. just my .02
  19. I wonder if you mean me -- I'm actually not sure whether anyone on here has apexi cans besides me. Mine aren't this model, though, and were rebranded as wangan cans. And they're not fart cans, thank goodness - they're actually a little on the quiet side unless you've really got your foot in it, and then they're more like a deep growl than a raspy snarl. I put a couple clips in this thread a while back.
  20. girl in an ABP in woodstock vt yesterday. came and parked next to you in mine, and you yelled at me what a nice car i had, haha!
  21. thanks. quiet at idle, but not under throttle...just what I wanted.
  22. not the best clip in the world, but I got a new camera and wanted to see how the audio was. Perrin DP, mid, and Y. Wangan (Apexi) Cans. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xl4W2Kf6gPY]YouTube- MVI_6413.MOV[/ame]
  23. thinking of getting myself a T1i right now, incidentally...any war stories?
