Sorry to keep throwing things at a wall, really odd that you don't have a CEL, but JoeInOregon may be right about vapor lock. Always worth checking Cam and Crank position sensors too.

If it was just rebuilt and leak down tested then definitely not compression. TGV's stuck closed? I have a feeling it's something electrical then. Edit: TGV's stuck closed is usually accompanied by a CEL

Have you ran a compression test recently?

I recently made the switch to castrol in the daily, it's a cheap oil with decent additives. Apparently t6 has changed their formula a few times in the last decade. I bench tuned and installed everything but the head unit this weekend. I'm waiting for AVOjdm to ship out too, I was quoted early November.
