madcheeku Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 My driver door on 2005 GT lmited got damaged and I have found a driver door on a 2005 2.5i limited. I think that will be cheaper than going to a body shop. Would the door fit in my car? How difficult would it be to replace the door? Max Capacity Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 I will fit, they are the same body. You'll just need to swap over the hardware to make it match and make it work. I would not put the inner door panel on until I made sure the window and the lock worked. FWIW, a body shop replaced my rear drivers side door, someone else backed into it. It was almost $2500. Paint matched perfect and still does over 2 years later. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
