Totaled04Rex
So I got a set of these from Japan from a member here. He assured me they are for the sedan, but when I test fit them not all the holes line up. Also the inside part in the front seams to be a little longer than where it mounts to. Lastly the clips won't push in and lock on certain holes because it feels like the spat makes it too tall to properly click closed. The fronts have 2 mounting points on the bottom that don't like up to anything so I'm guessing use screws on those? Does anyone have a walk though or some insight into how to make these work? I tried searching and could only find GB and FS threads no install ones. Thanks in advance really wanting to get these mounted!
Totaled04Rex
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/06/19/egubeny2.jpg This clip won't seat far enough to be able to pop down the locking part http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/06/19/udybe8ud.jpg These two mounting holes which were clearly used to mount it on the previous JDM car don't line up with anything. Does anyone know if I put two screws into the bottom of the side skirt if that will mess up anything under the skirt, like wires or important stuffs? The rears look like they will be easier and line up. I'd rather not use double sided sticky tape because if I ever sell the car I want to be able to strip the parts off and sell them. Plus that's a Honda rice body kit trick IMO lol Any tips or pics of your install would be awesome. Thanks in advance and happy boosting!
Chameleon
Majority of forum members just used self tapping screws and mounted them to the rocker panels underneath directly. The locking clips gave me s hard time but I eventually popped them all in with a good bit of effort. Hope this helps
Totaled04Rex
That helps. Verified with my local dealer parts guy that there isn't anything under the side skirt to worry about drilling into. Should have them all hooked up later tonight.
Totaled04Rex
3m double sided outdoor tape, and the stock clips and they are on!!! Might add some screws in the bottom later, but as of now they appear to be very solid. At least 2 clips on each one and tape all along the edge where the factory tape was and it should be good! Pics to come shortly

Totaled04Rex
sorry forgot all about this lol http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/08/01/e9a3y8y9.jpg The rears don't sit flush to the bumper at the back for about 3-4". I think with some screws instead of the factory mounting points I could get them flush but it hasn't bothered me enough to fix it when it's 100+ outside every day
PtPixel
Nice, shame about the rears not sitting flush but if it doesn't bother you then eh. Reckon it's because of JDM difference? Counting the days until I get mine in the mail...
Totaled04Rex
Yeah I think it's because the JDM bumper is slightly different. I thought one screw would do it but I don't think so. Might need to pop out the clips and use screws instead.

jhawk222
How did you mount them? Installed mine last night. They are flush, it rained and now I have to reset the rears because the water caused the 3m adhesive to let go. I'll post some pics tonight. I used a rubber mallet for the pop clip in the first pic and 3M tape for the rest. 3M has an adhesive remover when and if the time calls for removal. evak
This is the best I can do. These are the install instructions in Japanese ( I assume) for the rears: http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff234/evak81/Spatinstall2_zps7949273c.jpg

Silinc3r
Yes I know this is old but it's a good thread. Can you install spats with factory mudflaps? Silinc3r's 05 SWP GT/Spec B

Silinc3r
so you mean RA flaps. I was wondering if you could use the factory mudflaps Silinc3r's 05 SWP GT/Spec B
Hannya
With RA Flaps. I'm not sure if the OEM Factory may fit because these technically are used as rain flaps (JDM ) http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o280/leihalani/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150129_142337_zpsiqzunuch.jpg Kay.
