teamafx
I have a horrible idle, severe misfire and when in drive or reverse would almost stall out. Changed turbo Swapped Injectors with known good out of my 04 Subaru XT New Headgaskets New Timing Belt New Spark Plugs New head, all valves adjusted Still had misfire. Tore engine down, found ringland failure on 3 cylinders, had engine reworked, new pistons, rings, etc. Misfire at idle is now gone. Put in gear and the idle is solid, even with a/c idle is solid. teamafx
no oil in TMIC, idle is rock solid, just under a load.....im begining to think the valves werent adjusted properly causing the misfire on the same side.

JmP6889928
Check ignition coils. These cars eat them. Also check the plug that goes into the ignition coils. I had that problem and ended up having to put a slight twist on the pins in the coils to make sure they had good contact and the problem went away.
