Painting mufflers

What is the best way to do this w/o removing the mufflers? And what's a good paint? And anyone who has done this, please feel free to contribute your pics to this thread :D

Thanks!

Not trying to change your plans, but the mufflers aren't that hard to remove. Having said that, paint choices depend on what look you're going for. How about header, engine, brake caliper or high-temp paint? Any of which can be found at an auto parts/hardware store.

You can find "BBQ grill paint" in flat black. It's high temp. There are also some that give a textured (wrinkled) look that may be more durable. Flat black with chrome will look good though. Ramps would be helpful.

Thanks for the info!

I have never used ramps with a manual... Should be even more interesting going in reverse...

Might wanna get some help getting the car on the ramps. After that.....

1- Set emergency/parking brake

2- Block/chock front wheels

3- Enjoy!!!!:D
