Jonesy3289 Posted May 17, 2013 Share Posted May 17, 2013 I just bought my 05 GT and i want to spice it up a little bit. Two things i was thinking of doing is: 1. Powdercoating the rims (already found a shop in my area that will do all 4 rims fro $300) 2. I just want to make the car sound a little more beefier. Im not really looking for more power i just want it to have a nice idle rumble and a good roar when i step on it. So i guess my question is. You can run without the cans all together, nice and loud under WOT. Not really doable for a daily driver, so stick with the washers for while, if you like it eventually spend some money on a new exhaust....or have someone makes some straight pipes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But yes, you want the car at stage 1 at least, get it off the stock MAP. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
