Yes, definitely.

I did not know that SoJ had continued the WR Limited model. I thought the 04 model 2.0GT Spec B was it. Evidently for 05, they have gone to just the 2.0GT for the WR Limited model.

The wagon even has the trim strips, rather than the roof-rack, just as people were mentioning above...

How I wish they sold something like that here... I would have one already.

And yes, that is another hot WR Blue Legacy. I'd hit it! Can you tell us if it had blue interior upholstery, or just black?

It looks an awful lot like they took an '04 JDM WR Limited 2.0 GT Spec B and re-fitted it with some STi Performance bits, put some WRT logos, and had a demo/chase car for the rally team, and something to show off in the paddock. Good choice if they did that... but if it were a WR limited, it should also have blue panels on the seats and door panels.

I'd repaint a legacy if I had the money to burn to do it right, but it would be so much easier, if SOA would just sell us one...

It is a JDM import Legacy STi. Belongs to a member of the SWRT. If I remember correctlly the seats had black and blue.

I wasn't aware of a Legacy STi sold in Japan until it was posted on this forum a couple of weeks ago... Although that is offered in WR Blue, Regal Blue, and some form of silver. Supposedly only 600 made.

So it must be one of these...

The only other Legacys painted WR Blue that I knew of were the 04 and 05 WR Limited, and the 04 WR Limited and the above STi-tuned car were "spec B" cars. (which the one in the pic also is) The 05 WR Limited was not a spec B. The WR Limited cars did have a blue-and-black seats and door panels, too.

So, I guess there are a very few WR Blue painted cars in Japan every year, in varying guises, and limited numbers.

Whatever they are called, and whatever their specification, I WANT ONE!
